Dont you mean Merry Christmas?? I mean it may not be a big deal to you seing as your flag is turned upside down, but Christmas is a big thing for alot of people on here, you want call it something that a bunch of Jews on Seinfeld made up to make fun of a Christian holiday its your right, but its a little inapporpriate in my opinion.
You never see a bunch of Christians walking around going Happy Chuckwaggona for Channukah do you?? Its funny how it always the other way around.

I can't believe you scream 'reverse sectarianism' in the same breath as you tar the term for a fictitious non-denominational holiday because it was invented by 'a bunch of Jews on Seinfeld.'

I was thinking the same thing. Of course, he only has 7 posts and already a Yellow Card.
Holy crap, he was just being funny. I found it funny (though it did come a bit too late). I just wished there was an aluminum pole somewhere.
And just to let you know, an upside down flag means that the place of which it's fying is under distress. I'm sure that since we went to war with Iraw, this is what he's meaning by this.
I'm also not going to start discuss what Christians do and don't do. Now Christians is a very broad term covering many, many different denominations, but I will say that I've seen on more than one occaison some very evangelical Christians doing equaling as stupid and insulting things to other religions as this seemed to you.

How the hell does Festivus make fun of Christmas? It makes fun of the characters on the show and the absurd lengths they go to to make holidays self-serving. Merry Christmas and Happy Festivus.

Christmas, yeah I've heard of it. It's a good thing you are here to defend it, because otherwise those "Jews on Seinfeld" might succeed and convince everyone around not to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Guys, you know that jesus is dead right? So is moses, and mohammed. They are all dead. Why don't we all try to start worshipping the living, like let's say Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, or John Adams. Were'nt they all deeply religious men? Right?

Umm...
Last I checked, Ben, Thomas, and John are all dead too.
And so is John and George. But Paul and Ringo are still alive if you want to worship them.
And the Gallagher brothers of Oasis said their goal was to be bigger than Jesus, so you might want to look into worshipping them too, if you want living people.
