I´ll support them!
I´ve heard the A-league starts next year, what do think about it? Will it be a success? I´ve also just heard that the poison of one bite of a Koala-bear can kill at least 100 people immediatly. Is that true?

Is that true?Well the A League will hopefully be a big hit.The salary cap is quite small only 2 million from each club :P. I live in Melbourne so of course i will support "Melbourne Victory" and hopefully the matches will get decent crowds to put a bit of atmosphere into the games and then more people will switch codes and start going to the real football games instead of aussie rules or rugby!!

Koala's are **************.

AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE OI OI OI!!!

Once i saw a documentary about coach Bernd Stange (forgot which team he coached)and his life in Australia on german TV. From what i saw of the fans they looked really passionate and showed a good support at the matches.

Itll be awesome! Basically the official opening-ceremony of our beautiful new Waldstadion! Gosh, I cant wait!
Hope there will be a decent team playing us in the final! Though the Aussies would be funny! Works for me....

Mexico will probably be the one in the final. I know that with Brazil, Argentina and Germany in the tournament everyone thinks that the best Mexico can hope for is 4th place, but we are going for our 2nd confederations cup.

I just read that only 5000 tickets have been sold up to now for the Japan - Mexiko match in Hannover.

I do understand it though.
It's a totally meaningless tournament and I don't know why I should spent money to see nations play that I don't have any relation to.

Stange used to coach perth glory, they were by far the best run and best supported team in the country, that's the first iv'e heard about haessler coming here, would be great. A few weeks back sydney fc signed former germany and koeln great pierre littbarski as their coach, things are starting to look brighter for aussie football fans.

I love that Australia came a little bit nearer to fooball.

Cause I think that they are in the "Qualification" for the world cup get every time a new asskick.

And I think it matter for the whole overseas region, to see it from here.

Global, the Ocean group get asskicked every year.

Your right, when it comes to qualifying for the world cup we do get our "asskicked', except for the one and only time we qualified back in 1974 when germany hosted it, we ended up playing against both west and east germany, losing 3-0 to a west germany that had beckenbauer, mueller, maier, overath etc. was'nt that bad a result to lose 3-0 to that side, also ended up losing 2-0 against east germany but managed to take a point off chile with a 0-0....in the confed's cup i think australia might give germany a tougher match than some would think, but of course i still expect a german victory.

Klinsi Wants Confederations Cup Glory

Germany's national soccer coach Jürgen Klinsmann has revealed his plans to win the Confederations Cup on home soil in June as a dress rehearsal for World Cup glory in 2006.

German coach Klinsmann on Tuesday targeted the forthcoming Confederations Cup tournament this summer as a dress rehearsal for the coveted World Cup win the following year.

The tournament, which brings together the champions of the world's six continental confederations plus Argentina as Copa America runners-up and hosts Germany, is seen as the ideal starter for the Germans with the main course to come the following summer.

"This is a very important stage for us, like a time trial on the Tour de France," Klinsmann said in an extensive interview with the German press agency dpa. "It's important not just because of the games but the fact that this will be the first time that we have spent a long period of time together. On top of that, it's in our home country, just like the World Cup."

Klinsmann and his coaching staff will use the Confederations Cup to run a critical eye over their charges with a view to assembling a tournament-savvy group ready to make a play for the big prize in 2006. "We will see how the team reacts to certain events, this is something different from a one-off international."

The Germany coach also pledged to do all what was necessary to win the Confederations Cup this June, even at the temporary expense of his youth policy. Klinsmann said that an experienced team would battle for the cup but young hopefuls would still get their chance to shine. "There will be possibilities to play the younger ones," he said, "to get a feeling whether they are ready for the World Cup."
