First, Merry Christmas to all.

Second, this game on Boxing Day begins a pretty grueling stretch for Leeds with 4 games in 9 days. I believe Gregan and Walton will both be out with yellow card accumulation. It won't be easy at the Stadium of Light but Leeds are hovering dangerously over the relegation zone and need to scrap for all the points they can get.

Just did not expect it. Came home to listen to the last 20 plus minutes and was pleasantly surprised that Leeds had the lead. Blackwell has to find a way to get Lennon on the pitch. Of course we could expect given that Beebe was there we would give up a PK. The last minute Sunderland goal had to happen just to torture everybody. Hopefully they can take advantage of two very winable home games in a row. Hopefully Brian was there and will provide a first hand report. Can't wait until Tuesday! Nice to have some positive news!

Massive result for Leeds. This was very much unexpected. Missing Gregan, Walton, and Oster on the road made for a difficult matchup but the boys delivered. Simply amazing.

I did about 570 miles of driving today. It was worth it.

It started out with Sunderland on top, but that didn't last for too long. I think the first goal was a ball played to healy which somehow popped out to lennon, who positioned himself well and curled a left footed shot into the far post. It was pretty.

The penalty, i don't know if it was legit at all, it was on the other side of the ground, but the Leeds players didn't seem too happy about it.

Deane's goal came from Spring running down the left hand side before laying it back to Healy to cross to Deane which he headed in off of the crossbar. I don't know if it was saved to the underside of the crossbar or not, but it went in.

Some nice play on the right later had a long ball from killa go perfectly in the right corner to Wright. He the got past his guy and squared across to JJ, which he planted in the back of the net.

Killa fouled someone just outside the box in injury time, and Arca curled a nice freekick into the far post.

In the end, we deserved it. happy happy joy joy

Those yellow card suspenions are starting to look like a blessing in disguise because Walton and Gregan will be fresh for our match with Plymouth the day after tomorrow. Oster will also be coming and hopefully Carlisle will be fit.

Just saw Lennon's goal. It almost look like he took it away from Healy's run as they crossed paths.

Which i think is very good. Means the little guy isn't short on confidence.
