who has had the best international debut goal that u can think of? off the top of my head i can only think of Shaun Wright-Phillips and Jermaine Defoe's goals.

SWP's goal was just great, it showed his awareness and acceleration and it was just a fantastic finish

I like Defoe's debut just as much, what control he had when he brought the ball down then turned all the way inside freezing the defender.

If we're talking goals on debut then Jermaine Defoe didn't score on his. IIRC his debut was against Sweden and he drew a blank.

Darius Vasell scored with a bicycle against Holland in what I think was his debut.

Definitely agree with Josimar as well though. Great goal and what a stage to do it on as well.

This isn't a debut goal, but a First international goal. Stefano Fiore scored on a nice balst from outside the box against Belgium in Euro 2000. That was a nice first goal.
