Liverpool conceded a late goal (several times this season) but let's just use the Blackburn one.
If we don't concede that goal, we are level with Arsenal right now.
Would that make them "infinitely" ahead of LFC?
Man United are "regrouping, but will come again." Funny, they haven't beaten, much less earned a draw, against a Houllier led team in nearly three years.
I won't call names either... (but damn, Matt is good at it isn't he?!?!?!). We've dealt with this type before. Of the same lot who called us boring a few years back, while we banged in 100+ goals, and spent all that time polishing silver.
LFC will be challenging for honours long after Foxhound, and those like him, finally realize that LFC get it right on several fronts. Academy (Fowler, Owen, Gerrard) Gem tranfers (Hyppia, Dudek, Riise) a dynamic mix of veterans (Hamman, Babbel, Jerzy) and young England stars like Heskey and the aforementioned strikers. Not to mention a manager and staff that are the envy of many, many clubs. Great supporters too. We make no apologies for making you envious.
Owen, Gerrard, Heskey, and Murphy could have all played in the World Cup if Fit, thats more than one third of the entire starting 11.
Yep, we're crap.
