Tis the season for giving
MLSnet.com Staff
The holiday season is upon us, and everybody has received a gift that ranks as an all-time favorite or one the stands out for lesser reasons. MLSnet.com asked numerous players, coaches and staff around the league what is the best gift and worst gift they have ever received.

MetroStars midfielder Mark Lisi

Worst gift: "A book."

Actually a pretty funny article. Seems socks and sweaters from aunts aren't that "cool".

Actually, I think that should be Freddy's answer because, lest we forget, Walker is a 14 year-olds beehatch.

Yeah, but Walker didn't gift him like he did Jaime. He should have gift wrapped that goal Moreno made him look silly with.

And the best gift Lisi ever got was a gift certificate to Qdoba?

This is a very simple man... I'm imagining him on Christmas Day...

"A book? Well that's dumb.... HOLY SH!T!!! BURRITOS!!!!"

Oh, don't get me wrong. Qdoba makes a damn tasty burrito. Just not "this is the best Christmas ever" good. :p

Best gift: "This year I got an early Christmas present in the form of my daughter, my first child, Xavia."

Worst gift: "I've never received a bad gift for Christmas."

God, I love that guy.

A close runner up was Chrissy Albright talking about winning at his ping pong table.

Glad to hear that f-hole is actually good at SOMETHING :D

Plank?

PLEASE help me work that into my vocab......It is the past tense for plonk, which is a red wine. Gringos are always making verbs out of nouns, which is a pet peeve of mine (and don't ask me what a peeve is). :p

We cant help it if we're prone to verbing.
