I think he's making a big mistake!!! He should stick to the B squad because their more energitic and ambitious plus they have beaten guatemala before and equador!! Well atleast add kikin to the A squad that he has mentioned so far!!

Exactly Kikin should be in the squat and also Pumas goal keeper. not osvaldo.
and they should move up Parejita at least the be B squat to see whan he can do for the NT.

que pendejo. the B squad that played those last 4 games of the year played better than the A squad. he should call up Kikin, Medina, Altamirano, Galindo, etc. i understand calling up Oswaldo and Rafa Marquez, but why the hell would he call up Pardo, Palencia, and Borgetti?!?!

Well Borgetti is good, i think that was a good choice; however, I think he made a big mistake with Blanco, he is not a team player. and the NT can do better without him than with him. Not to mention that he is a trouble maker and he always gets into fights that in the long run will hurt Mexico.

Please no Borgetti, Palencia, or Chiquis.
With those guys and the rest of the old guard you can forget the Hex. How many poor pathetic performances from those guys does it take to show they're not up to snuff?
Especially Borgetti, compare him characteristic for characteristic with Kikin (and even other forwards we have) he is worse in every single way. He is not good. There is no other way to put it. He's so slow its pathetic and makes me ashamed when we play the good teams to see him run off the ball so easily and lose the ball so weakly. The national team is for the best right now, not the best hace anos.
If Lavolpe uses only the old guard I can guarantee we'll need another
Aguirre-like save from someone to qualify, and Lavolpe will be run out of town.

Having experience is great and can be very important, but not when its all you have.
There is a delicate balance when players start to age between the limitations their physical qualities present and the positive things they add via their experience.
Many of the old guard is on the wrong side of that equation now

True but we arent exactly facing world class national teams.. Can you name me one TFC squad that has enough talented youth that they can take the HEX withouth any problems ? I doubt you will find such a national team. Thus experienced players can be important. Players like Pardo, Palencia and Oswaldo know what it is like to play in Mazatenango or get a draw at Saprossa stadium.. And lets not act like none of the B'squad players will find their way into the senior team. This HEX should be easier than the last so i dont expect the Tricolor to have any problems..

How is Cuauhtemoc not a team player. Almost all the goals on Veracruz came from him in some way, he is always on the list of leading assists. I can understand if you don't like him but that was a bull shyt reason.

First of all that is a personal opinion based on how he played in the last game with the NT, yes he did helped in one of the goals, but for the most part he didn't do much. As for the Veracruz he was the only one scoring

I think Kikin should start, however, I think they'll still do good with the players he mentioned. It's not like they're bad or anything, just a bit old I say...

Kikin has demonstrated several times how good he is in the NT and puma. Perhaps Lavolpe is just afraid to call too many players from pumas, cause they'll shine too much and make Hugo look better.
