All three Basque teams go into the Winter Holiday with big wins.
Bilbao 4-0 Mallorca
Malaga 1-5 Real Sociedad
Osasuna 2-0 Numancia
Granted, they were playing three relegation strugglers, but a positive outcome all the same. Osasuna moves up to 7th, 1 goal behind Betis in 6th. Bilbao and Sociedad will bump up in the table as well.
The break will almost be unwelcome by Bilbao who are finally showing consistency and scoring prowess. 13 goals in the last three games :)
