Then, the girl at Chick-Fil-A (with a tongue ring) was also nice. I'm more surprised than anything else.
Hm. Can we go to this Chick-Fil-A? There's used to be a cute girl who worked at the Arby's at one of the malls around here.
I think all this DC stuff, I'll probably just send some PMs out when the time gets closer. I don't even know how many people are coming with me, but I do know that most of them are girls.
+ We got a temperature of 102 today. Before you yell at me, I live in Oregon, so it's bloody hot for here. Stupid summer & stupid lack of rain.

Haha. Found this on a Sunderland AFC site. People aren't sure if this is really the same Kevin Phillips.

I wish the Colorado Highway Patrols would patrol Is 25 and 70 like the town of Evergreen, CO patrols it's roads. 3 cop cars in 15 minutes, I go weeks without seeing that many on the interstates. Of course this request becomes null and void should I be in a hurry to get somewhere or am on an empty road at 1 am. ;)

I'm still laughing. I didn't think you could find a group of sad sacks like this.

- For another good laugh, I like to think about how Alex Ferguson paid 7.5 million pounds for Diego Forlan.

Ah, but Forlan did make the team. Scored a fantastic goal against Senegal. In my opinion Uruguay would have gotten through the group stage had they started Forlan over Abreu.

Barbecue sauce is indeed my favorite. Back in my pig-eating days, barbecue was my favorite food. Now it would be, except it's hard to find beef barbecue. THE BEST barbecue though, if you're all about eating pig, and also some of the best bbq seasonings and sauces, can be found at a place called Pigman's on the Outer Banks.
Speaking of outer banks, my lack of going to any sort of beach this summer REALLY depresses me. And hell if I'm gonna go to scuzzy VA beach. Maybe I'll make a trip to NC during soccer season one weekend when UVA plays one of the teams down there, and make a pitstop by the beach. I need some sand between my toes, seriously.

Testify, OGHT!! I tell the uninitiated that the bumper sticker's owner thinks it stands for Outer Banks, but in reality, it stands for Obnoxious. Works for me.
I miss the old VA Beach, or at least the ones we went to when I was little - the beaches literally on the border between VA & NC. They still had that wild look about them. Heavenly.

Definately! Most of the outer banks area has gotten so touristy now it's not fun, and a lot of the Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas are the same way.
I went to Hatteras a few years back babysitting (yeah, babysitting at the beach. It seemed too good to be true, and indeed it was. I wound up watching 7 kids rather than 3) and it was pretty nice there. I also really like Corolla, where all the wild horses are.
As far as SC beaches go, we went to this place called Garden City for a few years. It was nice, not too crowded, but at the same time it wasn't too far from Myrtle Beach, and also had a big pier with live music and a bar and arcade, so there was action to be found if you wanted it.
Ok, so who wants to go to the beach RIGHT now?

Let's go! Throw some ************ in a bag, and drive down here. We should make it to somewhere on the NC coast in...about 7-8 hours. Actually, there won't be much traffic, so less than that.

My bad. I'll see if I can edit it. But I still laugh that much was spent on him.

well... ive seen the OBX with "obnoxious" below it... but i think not all of them mean that... either way...
= Harpal Singh has become a stud!! I loaned him out last season to Notts County where he proceeded to score 11 goals and 7 assists in 33 games. this season, i decided to play him, due mainly to injuries, and now in 8 games he has 10 goals. 2 hat tricks as well (one was a 4 goal beauty against Ipswich that we shouldve won 9-0 but had 3 goals called back. it was 4-0 after 15 minutes...)

As someone who used to go 85 on I-70 from Glenwood Springs almost all the way to Denver (those uphill climbs are a motherfu...), I respectfully say SSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
