- No one has ever talked about jazz much on RT. Just a little, but not much. I love Coltrane and Nina Simone. "See-line Woman" is a cool ass song.

I like jazz, though more of the Count Basie and Duke Ellington variety. Instrumental is better than vocal, in my opinion.

We have the first pick, as a result of letting Vicar go to create his team.

No I did not hear. Wear the pants.
-J, is there a band of dudes from UMD called Last Chance Hero, or something to that effect? Someone in the TerpIdiots chatroom sent me some of their songs and their website once, but I forgot the band's name, but they are pretty damn good
I've heard the name.
The only CP band I know is good is MacGregor, and I only saw them on accident.

I think I'm finished. I'm not going to apologize for anything I've said because it's what's on my mind.
And, on this point, I'll agree. You shouldn't apologize.
We're going to take this off the thread now. Sorry everyone else.

The "grown way too far" part is correct.

All you guys that are new to the thread have arrived at a very inopportune time. Nothing like this ever happened before.

Without venting, there would be no RT.

Jazz is something I've always liked but never gotten into.
That sounds so...musically uneducated.
-Ok, everyone: This whole issue is between Sam, Zach, Cindy, and I. I promise to keep it all off the boards, and I think that won't be a problem for anyone else involved, either. I'm sorry you all had to deal with this.
-I saw Road to Perdition tonight. It was pretty good.
-My friend Ben, whom I haven't seen in a long damn time, works loading beer trucks. Sounds like fun, right? It isn't. Be in at 6:15am, you work outside mostly, and if you break anything you pay for it. Only $7 an hour, too. He should work elsewhere, but he's a glutton for punishment.
-I used the Foreman grill tonight for the first time in ages. We didn't have buns, so I used an english muffin. Call it a desperation burger.

-I forgot some ************.
-My parents bought me a couple pairs of shorts from Kohl's. One pair is khakis and one is cordoroy. They also got me a pack of undershirts that are made like Nike jerseys...no collar tags. Solid.
-I made about $19 plus extra I might get from the shipping on the toys I sold on eBay. Someone also bid $50 (!!!) for my Seedorf jersey. So. Lid.

Like Jason said, no more arguing here. We're taking care of this personally so as not to piss anyone else off, so I'm really really sorry about the whole thing.
Lex, I don't want you, or anyone else for that matter, apologizing for having to vent. That's what this thread is here for. If you need to, by all means, do it.
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I need to see Road to Perdition, as it takes place in a city right by here (I live by the Quad Cities, on the Iowa side. Two are in Iowa, two in Illinois.) It takes place in Rock Island, Illinois, and is based on a real crime boss here, though they changed his name from Looney to Rooney for the movie. Apparently this guy had all kinds of ************ running, but his best two money makers were booze and broads (He was a Depression era guy, who knew Al Capone, and did a few deals with him, though they weren't really tight). Since my mom even taught over there, it seems like a really cool history lesson.

I would wear the pants.
Then again, Moose is in better shape and naturally thinner so I bet my ghetto booty won't fit in them. I hope I'm wrong.

Seems about right. Capone comes up but isn't ever seen. The well-known mobster that is a character is Frank Nitti (Stanley Tucci).

--Video on Demand is a pain in the ass. 256 QAM my ass
--If you were cool you would realize the greatest London team is West Ham. Arsenal is for francoposeurs.
--And in conclusion, taquitos are a great, great thing.

+ Glad all this crazy shiznit went down when I was at the Sleater-Kinney show tonight.
+ Tonight was the first time that I ate in a restaurant where the waitress asked if I wanted Ranch with the fries. Brilliant.
+ Whoever was talking about the two year old trained as an Arsenal fan, you know he's going to end up as a Spurs supporter because it was crammed down his throat. Maybe you should try reverse psychology.
+ New Spurs kit is ugly.
+ Speaking of Spurs, I quite like them as a London team as the first football match I ever went to was them vs. Derby County in the 96/97 season. However, Brentford are obviously my favourite London club. QPR, f*** off.

I don't have a team in England, but West Ham is one of the teams I'm very interested in, along with Arsenal and Spurs (because of Dad).

Muenster cheese is solid in more ways than one.

This chick
http://wk.koreaherald.co.kr/SITE/data/img_dir/2002/07/12/200207120020.gif
has just signed a record contract. Which just goes to show you the Asian music market is the greatest in the world. Ever.
--I hope Kirovski finally signs with Birmingham. I am strangely looking forward to see him in the EPL.
--The spurs kit might be ugly but it is nowhere near as bad as the West Ham away. Go to www.whufc.co.uk to see it. It's the first thing that pops up. It is hideous. Retro my ass.
