my vacation, minus the 12 hours -15minutes part was excellent. i had a HELLU good time at the soccer thing on friday ("dema... will you leave a msg for our friend... yeah, you called her last week too!" "wha??? ~confuzzed dema look~" "yeah. her b/f got you to call her!") haha and at the tailgate ("work it, work it!!!!!!!!" "THE HORN!!!" "jello??? black haus????" "so YOU'RE spider_kin!!" haha) oh man. oooooooh man. so much fun.
i also got a teddy bear out of being in hospital :-D i'm on vicodin too. i took some about an hour 1/2 ago after dinner... i wish i'd had them earlier cos i was hurting, but dad hadn't got the prescription yet... :-( i'll take one before bed and hopefully just pass the hell out.
i'm a proud owner of "p. diddy plastic" which both my sister and bro (younger, both) want. andrew is a mighty bit upset i didn't get HIM ahorn... but hey!!! he'd have had it confiscated by his mumma with in two days... i'm not wasting money for that!!!
Jeff McCrum. :-D my picture got a little wet, and a little bent, but it still looks REALLY good. i'm going to find a frame for it and place it on my "knick Knack" table in lowell :-) thanks again for the copy :-)
little things like our "nighttime tour" of d.c. make me so happy. haha topo and marian took court and i to dinner, and then we picked up caroline and then they drove us around "the sights" wow! i'm gonna do that when i'm a "big kid" cos it was just so cool of them and it really made the day excellent!
sunday sunday sunday... ~sigh~ i have to say the nurses were excellent
OH MY GOD!!! my day nurse on sunday... it was too funny... his last name was "Koroma" all i could think every time i saw it, i was like "DRINKS!!!" hahaha cool stuff in my probably drugged opinion. we got a photo with him.
reminds me ... COURTNEY that's on your cam. so you need to send me a copy when you get them developed! :-)
OHHHH courtney. msn me later cos i need to talk about some photos with you. i haven't got aim yet :-( damnit!

It also gives me an excuse to talk on the phone and hang out with Julie more...she's actually going to be up here again tomorrow. Going to see Goldmember/engage in some intense minigolf/gorge ourselves eating.
I'm glad to hear C and Alexa are ok...I was wondering what was up when she wasn't returning my messages... C just has no luck with cars :(
Still recovering from the intensely excellent concert at Alpine Valley this sunday. Very, very cool.

Sissy. But I need to do the same in the fall, crap.
- I feel like ass. I think I have some sort of flu.
- No doubleheader for me tomorrow if this keeps up.
- Let alone Roma/Real Madrid on Thursday.
- Crap.
- Going to New Orleans next week, so if I'm not posting a lot after Tuesday, it's because I'm knee deep in crawdads and under the surface of the pool.

I'm doing alright, sore as hell now though. UGGHHH.
The good thing is that I reconnected with my best friend from HS at the hospital on Saturday. She's coming over tomorrow to play sweet valley and rent shitty movies, all that good stuff.

Leeds are excellent to start with. virtually every position is filled with a player who is good, and not only that, but very very young. its easy to win 10 straight with them, you dont have to worry about even bringing talent in until 2008 or so.
Speaking of CM...
I can't figure out a tactic to beat PSV's new formation. Bastards. I have an idea I haven't tried yet though...

Yesterday on the way home from work we were stuck in traffic (damn traffic) and there was this bus full of construction workers who would literally stare at me as we drove by. Since it was traffic-time, our car and the bus took turns passing each other at least 7 times, and every time they'd just turn and leer. I almost asked our driver to switch lanes so we wouldn't have to pass the bus anymore. Ugh!
This is the downside of guys looking.

I can't think of one.
But, I did get to see GI Joe on the Cartoon Network. But I had no clue what was going on. Shipwreck was wandering around with a talking parrot, and all the GI Joe guys kept melting whenever he touched them. Then they formed a big glob and took him away somewhere. To be continued....It seemed like one of Jason's acid-enduced dreams about Spanish tests.
Damned acid.

Auditioned last night for an area play. Did well enough to get a callback, I think, but the role is small enough to probably just get picked from one audition - and I did not do well enough to get cast.
Hope you get it.

In 01/02, the defense and midfield in general are horrible. Everyone's fitness sucks ass. I've bought Mathis (immediate badass), Ibrahim Said (from Al-Ahly, my best defender already, and hes only 23 and can play in the midfield as well) Ciro Ferrara (hey hes better than who I had and got him dirt cheap) and now I'm waiting on Bocanegra's work permit. Hopefully my backline will look like this:
Arca-Ferrara-Said-Bocanegra[/B]
Bocanegra is ridiculous at Ajax. He does better in central defense, just so you know.

I go to the bar there and am having a drink and eating an appetizer while reading a little and I hear "BUSER!!". So I look up and bartending there is Kirk, my little brother from my fraternity when he was a freshman and I was a senior. I had no idea he lived out here, so it was quite the cool surprise. Also good as 4 of my friends here have recently moved away so now I need to meet more folks.

Mokouko will be mine once the season ends. I considered buying Inamoto, and still might in the offseason. Galasek just turned 30 and Abubakari Yakubu is already better than him.

-My midfield still sucks. West Ham wont sell me Joe Cole for 40 million! I'll line up a new bid for him in the offseason, he kicks ass. I need some good flank players and a solid DM. Bojan Djordic from Man U is great on the left, but they wont sell him to me. Any ideas?
Raid Ajax. If they haven't sold Youssouf Hersi, you should buy his ass yesterday. He's scored 11 goals in 15 matches from midfield this season. He can play wide left, but is best as the AMC. Abubakari Yakubu is only 19 and can play anywhere on the right or center of midfield and defense. They also have 3 great young strikers (Mido, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Kwame Quansah). Not to mention Rafael van der Vaart, Andy van der Meyde, Daniel Cruz...
Seriously, when I use another team I'll be creating an Ajax 2 somewhere.

I'm looking for a solid defender now, someone to base my defense around. Grondin was that person but he's bitching about the defense now. Whiny French. Grondin and Primus will do as auxillary defenders but I need a good centerman to lead the D out of the back.
I use Bocanegra and Marcelo Heleno of Vitoria in Brasil. Kind of costly (7 million pounds for each), but they are money. Marcelo was named Brasilian defender of the year, which is how I found him. He also has a 17 rating for set pieces.

Go trawl around in the Dutch leagues, along with any league in Scandinavia. Portugal also has a lot of good young players.
That reminds me...Tieme Klompe of Heerenveen. They won't sell him to me because they don't want him on another Dutch team. He's only 23 and is on the verge of successfully defending his Dutch defender of the league title.

kinda like the 16 game unbeaten streak (13 won in a row, yet to be broken) i have going with Leeds. Im sitting at something like 15-1-1 with 50 goals for. only one transfer in as well, Steven Finnan, who has been great off the bench.
Leeds are unholy easy to start a CM game with.
here is my CM tactic...
two strikers, a central AM who makes forward runs straight up, two central mids, three defensive mids (the right and left ones make runs all the way up to where the AM starts), and two defenders. its basically a 5-3-2, but modified by slotting the central defender into a central d-mid position and making all the run arrows. i always use this tactic.

I'm very stubborn...I won't play 5 in the back. I do have the personnel to try that though. The only person that would lose out would be van der Meyde.

well, its not really 5 in the back. its 2 defenders and 3 defensive mids, with two of the d-mids making runs well into the offensive half. use this with tactics set to attacking, short passing, and figure out who needs to be crossing or trying through balls.
