So, I'm finally playing CM again and decide to start at glorious Sunderland AFC. The season's seven games in and I've lost four, won three, but the bad patch is behind us now. I also managed to finally buy some players that I've never actually heard of, including Marcus Schopp (Sturm Graz), Thomas Finstad (some Norwegian team) and Lee Wilkie (Dundee). Keep in mind I'm running CM00/01.
Beat Manchester United 3-1 at Old Trafford and Super Kev(in Phillips) has six goals in four games. Ha'way the Lads!
Also, true to real life, Kevin Kilbane sucks.

I've noticed that BS is full of Newcastle fans, and has not one Sunderland supporter that I've seen.
I'm sure a lot of Newcastle fans in the US jumped on the bandwagon when they blew that twelve point lead in the Premiership in the 95/96 season.
I've actually been reading more Sunderland stuff than Liverpool stuff, which is weird. I can't seem to find any really good Liverpool sites, in terms of fanzines and the like.

Don't say that. West Ham is a solid team with great potential. You've got Paolo who will score, Fredie Kanoute who won't score but you can sell him and Jermaine DeFoe who becomes an absolute CM beast (just like real life). The midfield is packed with Titi Camera (unlike real life), Joe Cole, Michael Carrick.
--I think I will start a new Hammers game. I've won Europe twice with them but still haven't won the EPL.
--The best music show on tv is MTV2's Old School. They had the video for Dwyck followed immediately by "Passing me by"
--The "Did Alexi Lalas do enough to earn a comeback" thread is a piece of absolute beauty
--I don't know what they're called but I desperately want one of those 1/2 guitar, 1/2 keyboard things. That and a skinny tie

Thank you. It was planned over dinner Saturday night and life is great when a plan comes together like that.

"Brazillians" are what we called it when the team was jogging, and did all the random things like jumping for head balls...bending over to touch the grass...skipping...head/shoulder/hips/clap...and yes they're quite gay.
But I've never tongued another guy's ass (like a kid on our h.s. football team did).
I've seen Brazillians, then. I can probably do that for at least 2 minutes. But I'm sure it will get better. I've already started to eat better, so I don't have to carry around so much weight while running.
And if the secret to living forever was to tongue another guy's ass, I'd happily die instead.
Got good Sox tickets for Saturday. Yee Haw.

Leeds are excellent to start with. virtually every position is filled with a player who is good, and not only that, but very very young. its easy to win 10 straight with them, you dont have to worry about even bringing talent in until 2008 or so.

'The Miracle of Castel di Sangro' is a really good book, I agree. I just finished reading 'A Season with Verona' by Tim Parks yesterday. It's brilliant.

This is very true. Remember girls: if we're looking at you, it's because we like what we see.
Yesterday on the way home from work we were stuck in traffic (damn traffic) and there was this bus full of construction workers who would literally stare at me as we drove by. Since it was traffic-time, our car and the bus took turns passing each other at least 7 times, and every time they'd just turn and leer. I almost asked our driver to switch lanes so we wouldn't have to pass the bus anymore. Ugh!
This school thing is a really pain in the ass.
Understatement of the year.

-I do want pizza. I don't want to write this paper.
I also wanted pizza last night so I ordered some.
-Glad you're okay, Alexa!
-Last night at 9:30, my friend and I decided we wanted to go outside and play soccer, so we did. Unfortunately it was really dark and there were no lights on anywhere, so we only lasted about half an hour. Then we laid down on the grass and looked at the stars until this giant, SUPER giant even, moth started harrassing us. We went back inside.
-Bought some new jeans yesterday, I can't believe how much I like them. I rarely find jeans I like.
-Hope everyone has a nice day!

I think I decided that getting a house outweighed going to Highbury this year. Maybe next.

Actually yeah. In the cop car on the way to the hospital, I was like "soo...can I pee when we get to the hospital?" and he was all "sure!" So that was the first thing I did. Then I changed shirts (yeah free metrostars shirt in my purse!), brushed glass out of my hair, and so forth.
Good to hear...peeing your pants would NOT have been a good way to end an already crappy day.

Looks like I need to start watching more MTV2. I think I've only seen the Dwyck video once in my life. Is there a better party song than "Dwyck"? I think not.

Lucky bastard...I haven't been able to make it up to a Sox game this summer. Doesn't look like I will either.
Alexa, glad to hear you're all right.
I think KMD's "Black Bastards" ought to be the official album of Random Thoughts. Any album that can boast titles like "Solid Like a Rock" and "Like a Constipated Monkey" can't be all bad.
I'm TIRED. Got out of work around 11:30 last night. Then get home and the apartment below mine and to the left was playing music and partying. It wasn't really that loud, but it was enough to keep me up. Plus, they were playing oldies. I got pretty pissed the second time I heard them play "Under the Boardwalk". That's a bit excessive.
But, I did get to see GI Joe on the Cartoon Network. But I had no clue what was going on. Shipwreck was wandering around with a talking parrot, and all the GI Joe guys kept melting whenever he touched them. Then they formed a big glob and took him away somewhere. To be continued....It seemed like one of Jason's acid-enduced dreams about Spanish tests.
Chinese? I think I might....

Alexa: Glad to hear you're okay.
FullhamRev: Always remember - Lemonade was a popular drink, and it still is.
Lots o' cleaning to do today. Agency did not call back, so I'm guessing the extra scene in NJ isn't being filmed today. Probably tomorrow - which I can't make because I have a staff meeting.
Auditioned last night for an area play. Did well enough to get a callback, I think, but the role is small enough to probably just get picked from one audition - and I did not do well enough to get cast.
Hmm. Time for Frosted Mini-Wheats.

Saturday afternoon. A possible playoff matchup. Pedro's turn in the order. 10 rows from Pesky's Pole. I'm happy.
Glad to hear you're home and OK, Alexa. Try to take it easy.

Go back and buy three more pairs just like them then. These opportunities must be grasped with both hands.

Great episode, one of the ones I remember incredibly well. From the end of the series if I recall correctly. And the parrot (Polly) has always talked. At any rate, enjoy that one, it's a personal favorite.
