i have no idea how etch was MVP for the all star game. with exception to the goal, i didnt notice him at all...

i was very pleased, however, with the play (esp the combo play) for mcbride and mais. they were solid throughout.

the nats shouldve won too, i thought.

great to see the pyrotechnics mishap. that was hillarious.

and jason, no, i wore my yellow joe boxers with the big smiley face.

spent all night playing poker on keiths porch with brian and the three of us cracking smart ass remarks at each other. i swear to god, you will find NOBODY, and i mean NOBODY that can match the combined verbal wit of brian (splarg) and i when we are teaming up. its truly a wonder to behold.

other funny things...

got stuck in traffic going to the go-kart place cause of a concert, so, i decided to get out of my car, walk to the trunk, and pull out a flask and a bottle of liqour (ice 101) and do so very obviously to the people next to and behind me. that and also yelling swedish insults/obscenities at various people around the place.

becks dark isnt a bad beer, at all.

i need to not smoke. period.

my cm season is going fantastically with WBA. i think im building a dynasty, seeing as most of my starters and productive players arent yet 20, and im sitting atop the premiership after 24 matches.

I thought Klein was the best player on either team. Him or Joe Cannon for holding off the onslaught.

oh, it wasnt the actual video. it was the same idea/concept though. the video had been shot and out for some time, by that point.

and yeah, get the bouncing souls, or dropkick murphys, or someone along those lines to do a halftime show. did anyone else see that little preview thing she did before the show? i couldnt even understand what she was saying.

I didn't even see her...Cindy told me a couple things about it, but that was all. The Pepsi girl dancers (which I can only assume were involved) sat in the section next to me. One of them had no place wearing tight ass pants and a tight shirt...she had a gut.

After I got off the phone with Cindy, I was walking along the seats to get to my section, and someone stopped in front of me. I turned to my left, and there's Chino, looking over my head for someone else. I shook his hand and told him I thought he was a great player. He seemed pleasantly surprised to be recognized.

During the second half, CHINO, Eliseo Quintanilla, and some other guy I've never seen were sitting 2 rows in front of me. The only time they reacted to anything was to applaud Etcheverry for scoring.

-CM news: Mihajlo Pjanovic is proving C-towner right, as he had a hat trick on his debut, and recently hit 5 goals in one match. With 14 matches played, I'm first in Holland, though with their games in hand, Feyenoord can pull even with me and PSV could take a 3 point lead. I'm out of Europe already, after a disaster at Chelsea in the first round of the UEFA Cup...the whole thing was crap. There was an Andorran team in there, and I get drawn against Chelsea. ************.

Also, Youssouf Hersi has 8 goals from midfield and is generally amazing.

I didn't see much of it, due to the fact that I hate All-Star games, but I think I missed a good one. But on gig days, naps are first priority. Actually, on any day, naps take priority.

3 days until Lazy Daisy the Bassett Hound comes to stay at my place for a couple of days. I'm so psyched. I'd let her post but I'm afraid she'd drool on the keyboard.

hmmm... well, we got off the canal st underground, walked north a block i think, and then east a block or two. its right across from a mexican or seafood place or something with a brown signboard across the front of the building. this place was like, white and green, i think. happy hunting.

Definitely. After Cindy went to bed, I laid on the couch for what was going to be 10 minutes till some movie ended. It ended up being an hour of sleep.

-Just got a thing from the press saying they see no way for Ajax to be stopped. Then, the next day, PSV lost to Feyenoord, so now no one has games in hand that can pass me.
-I'm going to help my dad drop his truck off. He's having his brakes fixed so he can use it for work starting, I think, Wednesday.
