this isn't a thougt but a thought provoking thought: ask your local policeman how many domestic disputes he's been invovled in where the dude was high on marijuana.

The weekend recap:
- Not as dizzy, still as numb. I'm getting physical therapy for my neck and a neurologist for the dizziness. My doctor told me I should change jobs. No shit.
- Went to the Red Sox game Friday. I'd tell you what happened, but I don't know 'cause I sat behind 10 steakheads who just figured out that beer gets you drunk who took off their shirts, painted "Sox on NESN" on their chests, and stood up the whole game trying to get on TV. If their weren't 10 of them, I would have chucked something at them. As it were, one of my friends got a hold of the paint and put "Gay" on one of their backs to the joy and delight of everyone. Of course, nothing is more gay than painting another man's chest.
- Pub Crawl was fun. Money was made for the Jimmy Fund, which is good. The only thing I had a problem with: You get "fined" when you break the rules, like spilling your beer, swearing or whatever. It's part of the fundraising, and it's meant in fun, and most people don't have a problem with it and play the game. Well, this group of "chicks too pretty for the room" kept refusing to pay fines. Finally I told them "Listen, if you have no problem ripping off kids with cancer, then I guess you'll have to live with that for the rest of your bitchy little lives". I pray that none of their kids or family gets cancer, and I hope that if it happens, they aren't so flip about it. Very sad, but I felt better saying something.
- Yesterday I came home, watched the Bitch Orioles try and be tough with my Sox. Anyone who beckons guys to come fight him while backing up is a bitch.
- That being said, nothing in sports is a fun as being in a brawl. I can't explain it. When I played dek hockey, which is glorified street hockey, the brawls were the best part.
- In CM, don't manage Nottingham Forest in 01/02. They are in really bad financial shape. It's a big challenge. Free transfers are your only hope.

I hate numbnuts. When we went to Panama City Beach for Spring Break before we even got to our rooms we were stuck in an elevator with a bunch of tools. I proceed to start naming various tools and staring right at these guys, "Hammer, Screwdriver, Jack Hand Plane" The guys just kept staring at me and my hysterically laughing friends, completely unaware as to what we are doing.
P.S.--You should have pinned one of those chicks down and leave a stinky doody bomb on her chest.

My fiancee was there, so she might have mistaken that for "affection". What I did do was fine the bejeezus out of their steakhead boyfriends, since that would be the money they'd be using to pay the girls for sex later on. The Dick Trickle Down Theory if you will.
Besides that, it was lots of fun. The best was watching the Ruiz fight with a bunch of Boston people who don't realize how much of a stiff the guy is. Every time he got low blowed, I talked about how he was getting hit in the camel toe. There's a sharp streak of evil in me that loves to show itself in public places.
My new word for the week is "steakhead". Something about it just fits most guys I meet or see. I will be using it extensively, mixing in an "asshuffer" every now and again.

He's a wise man
For some reason an image search for Dick Trickle doesn't bring up porn but instead a picture of Hut Strickland. Not that I know anything about that.

It just goes to show that Thursday is a more mulleticious day that Friday.

-$20 more in the bank, because suckers want old toys. Suckers.
I was searching through things for upcoming All-Star sessions and Meet the Team and found a ticket stub from a few years back signed by Steve Jolley. I wondered what was stinking up the basement.
Although I was initially very motivated, I have yet to list on ebay all the crap that I want to sell. Keep telling me your success stories though. It's like an infomercial.

Um...are you sure? Think about what you're saying man!
Veronica needs to make sure that she wears shirts where her nipples pop out. That is the only redeeming quality she has.

god we blow..
I don't know that it will be a positive thing for DC. Crew takes some loser off the loser DC team. DC signs some loser from England. Both teams continue to lose and don't make the playoffs. Well, Columbus might make the playoffs if they can squeeze out New England for that last spot.

We have the Playstation version with the big mats at home. But, all the good CDs are only released in Japan and play on Japanese Playstation because Sony are Bastards.

You're talking to DC and Columbus, teams which have no realistic expectation of beating Kansas City more often than not. Your team at least expects to win that game. We just hope not to be embarrassed.

I'll look for you..I haven't decided yet what I'm gonna wear. Probably my Quakes jersey, and I'll probably be wearing my replica ring, too, since we're playing Smellay.
Shake with the Quakes is on Sunday, Sept. 8. Not sure what time.

-Damn, damn, damn, damn!!! I left my sunglasses at home. It was all foggy this morning and I just totally forgot to grab them. Somehow, yesterday I was thinking about them and knew I was going to forget them today. I hope my eyes don't burn out of my sockets.

well... its worse for columbus and heres how...
we get a loser from dc who cant even make the starting lineup. so. he cant make the starting XI on the worst team in the league, were going to take him and make him play defense, despite the fact that he is a midfielder.
you guys get gazza, at least he can still hit free kicks, if not more.
i mean, were helping a division rival here, not only by letting them get gazza, but by getting some dead weight off thier hands.
i hate the MLS...
anyways..
i might be driving to new york tonight for the match on wednesday with brian (splarg). not sure yet.
still need a plcae to stay, since, well, im kinda broke.

Kwame Quansah's dribbling and finishing went up 4 points each playing almost exclusively in the reserves (he made 4-6 first team appearances, all as a sub).
I had the scouts look at him, and he's got most of the tough things do develop. He just needs to fill in on other skills like positioning.

If we play a back 4, I'd rather start Namoff over McKinley.
Gazza will do us no good. We'll continue not scoring goals. The difference will be that Etcheverry will be pissed at sharing the spotlight, and we'll set up even more chances to miss.
