I wonder what English first division team I'll eventually manage. Coventry City, perhaps?
I'm tempted to give Norwich City a shot. Or Nottingham Forest.
I just really don't like this whole Olympique Lyonnais thing at all. I'm also having to adjust to not having awesome players in every position, after having managed Sunderland (we were the world's greatest team) and Barca.
Doctor Khumalo starting in the WC in a 1-1 draw with France? Ah, that's comedy.
Nothing I could add to this could make it any funnier.

Liz, you have not seen sucking in years that compares to the current available DC lineup. Without Moreno and Quaranta, and with Pope and Olsen nowhere near fitness, we are truly awful.
How can you possibly complain, being in first by what, 7 points? Come on.
I'm just complaining because I expect the team to actually play, rather than just stand around and watch the Wiz kick the ball back and forth. When your team is in first place, you hold them to a pretty high standard.
It's okay guys, I knew for 5 lonnnngggg seasons what it was like to suck, you'll make it.

yeah... well... columbus has the best gripe ever. after all, what has the league EVER done for us. what huge marquee allocations have we gotten? how has the league ever helped US out.
Hey, again, I feel ya. The only good allocation we've ever gotten is Donovan, and we only got him because we'd been owed an allocation for 2 friggin' years.

its just a shame our fans are so good, and arent fairweather, cause if they were, the league would have to construct a team of superstars for us (ala new england) in hopes to draw more fans... stupid 18k wednesday night crowds with no double headers...
You're right, Crew fans deserve a better team than is currently fielded, but there's nothing I can do about that. I know you enjoy making fun of San Jose attendance, but there's nothing more I can do about that either. I go to the games, I bring at least 4 other people with me to every game, I support the team, and I do anything I can to spread the word. That's what happens when the team was killed for the first 5 years of existence.
-Damn Rivaldo.
-Can't wait for the EPL season to start.

Rivaldo is still a little bitchass for his acting during the World Cup. I hope Juve breaks his legs.

Thanks a bunch. LOL-whoever emailed me is too scared to reply to my last (mean) email. They should know better than to mess with this...

Chrissi, like the others, I'm here if you need anything or just want someone to talk to. I can't imagine what it'd be like to be in your position, and I'm not going to try because I know it's impossible. Love ya lots, you'll be in my prayers.
(We really need to meet up at Spartan sometime...do you always stay after?)
Thank you. I always stay after the games, and I think I'll be wearing my blue one shoulder american eagle shirt at the next game. We should meet!

This isn't going to be one of my more eloquent or long-winded posts but I just wanted to let you that just like everyone else you'll be in my thoughts and prayers. If you ever need someone to talk to I'm more than willing to listen.
Thanks a bunch.

Tell them it's rather a moot point, as you do have L Do on the webpage and to imagine it without would be a different page. So, their theory is all off.
And they suck.
Well put. They suck, and they must have a brown stain on their pants because they haven't emailed me back. This lack of estrogen is making me such a b!tch and I think I like it.

-You're talkin' about DC and Columbus sucking? The Quakes looked like the worst team in the league out there last night, it was horrible. And a loss to KC?! Ugh!
-We'll do well with our three-week break from league play though.
-The weather is beautiful out there, I think I may go to the beach today.
-My aunt bought me some orange shorts yesterday.
-I'm pissed 'cause I don't think I'm going to be able to make it to "Shake with the Quakes" (the season ticket holder get-together with the team) this year. They're bastards for scheduling it so late in the year. The past three were in July/early August, this time it's in Sept.
UGH-the first night out of the hospital after my grandma's triple bypass surgery, and she had to see the Quakes lose to the Wizzers.
The weather is perfect in San Jose right now.
Orange pants are really sweet.
When exactly is the Shake with the Quakes? I may not be able to go because I have to go to dance camp for two weeks.
Damm!t.
I saw the guy who I have a crush on today. He looked like such a cutie pie, hehehe *naughty thoughts*

The peek-a-boo combined with CM and froze my computer. It's been acting up lately...I think it needs a good kicking.

--I've decided that I'm going to be a bandwagon jumper when it comes to Italian teams. I'm a Milanista now.
--I kid, the mighty Pirellis will crush the wussy-ass Opels and Fastwebs beneath foot
--Dinner: Leftover shrimp-fried rice and egg rolls. Who would think cabbage could taste so good?
--I've only won the Champ's League with two teams: Barca and West Ham. I always manage to fall short on away goals in the semis. I won the UEFA cup and 2 Champion's League titles with the Hammers but still didn't win the EPL. I was 3 points clear with one game remaining against the worst team in the league and my game crashed. Bastards
--I had Pjanovic but he only scored 5 goals last season in my striker rotation. He only had one goal in 10 games this season and started bitching about playing time so I sold him to Galatassaray for $18.75 million plus a 10% sell-on fee. Now my rotation is Turchetta, Franca, Abreu and Crespo. I'm working LD and Tonton Zola Mokouku into the lineup also.
--Pantywaist is a funny word
--Blackhawk Down is a good movie for surround sound
--I finally saw Orange County and The Royal Tannenbaums. I enjoyed.

Opels roll on Pirellis. You're all ************ed.
Tonton Zola Mokouku into the lineup also.
I need to get this guy, just for his name.

It doesn't hurt that he pours in goals like Hollywood cranks out crap movies and can also play as an attacking midfielder. I don't know his contract situation in 01/02 but in my version he's just languishing in the Derby reserves. You can usually get him for about $3.7 million. Looking at his stats it doesn't look like he's worth it but he is. He'll be an international for either Ghana or Sweden by the time he's 19, he doesn't demand alot of money and he doesn't bitch about being underpaid.
--If you haven't been reading The Boondocks for like the past week you're missing out. It's all about Michael Jackson aligning himself w/black people again so he tries to get Huey on his side. Great. The best line is from the grandpa who answers the phone when Jackson answers "Huey, there's some sissy-voiced boy named Mike calling for you."

So a couple years in the Ajax reserves and he'd be dynamite, then?

I don't know how much it's changed in the year between 00/01 and 01/02 but if you put him in the reserves he'll score like 3 a year and you'll sell him cause he's crap. If it hasn't changed put him in your first team immediately. He will score and score and score right now.

I've found that putting players in the reserves does pretty much nothing. The only time it seems to work for me is in a country like Spain where the reserves actually play in a lower league. I had my Barca B team playing in the 2nd division and I had great players popping up left and right.
--Inter's away jersey is great. The 3rd jersey has to be the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen. Worse even than Nigeria's neon green jerseys perhaps.

here's my random thought:
if life begins at conception, how come we dont have funerals for miscarriages?
