right... but usually they deny any interest (ala gallas) whatsoever. they keep hush hush about things (ala emerton).
oh well.
at least weve got some tangible money to spend now.

Thank you Chicago Fire for making the day less miserable.
-Veronica Payslut also sucks a great suck. First of all she needs to get a shirt that doesnt make her nipples pop out, then she needs to go to the clue store and pick up a few things. ABC/ESPN should fire her promptly and hire Jessica Biel. She plays soccer and is better looking.
Since you didn't say "I hate her accent", your opinion is much more valid than all the other people that don't like her.
And I don't think you can blame her shirt...and why should you? ;)

This just in and confirmed: Rivaldo signed with AC Milan. There will likely be rejoicing on this thread.
Indeed.
This is a great move, though we need to figure out how to offload Rui Costa. Next up, Cannavaro. I'm just waiting for his unveiling. Milan is set to ************ people up.

Well done Bob.

then again, columbus is the leagues ************ squad. watch us get bent over so that DC can get gazza...
I would gladly give you Gazza for any one of McBride, Cunningham, or Washington. We couldn't score in the horniest brothel in the world.
that kinda sucks about rivlado. i was hoping that maybe leeds would have pulled a coup and gotten him, afterall, we are never 'interested' in a player until its all said and done.
Yoink!

I can't believe no one's bought Emerton yet.

Many American men will be lined up at their door on their 18th birthday.
-It's official: DC United is the worst team in MLS, and until we find someone that can actually give another team a reason to have defenders, we will be.
-************ ************ ************ ************ ************. It's so frustrating...for all the possession we had, I never once thought we were threatening to score. Even when Adin Brown made huge saves, all I could do was look down in despair. Usually I get this feeling that we're going to score a few minutes before we do...I haven't had that feeling for awhile now. Ben Olsen comes back after 2 years out and was instantly our most threatening attacker...2 years!!! For ************'s sake, we couldn't even score on the Revs! The worst defense in the league, by far!
-Oh, and another thing: Twellman dove only once today, but also put in a horrendous tackle on Milton Reyes. Somehow, he was only given a yellow. Twellman came in two-footed and a full second plus after the ball had been touched away. Ridiculous.
-And it was ************ing Jay Heaps that scored. Good lord!
-I hope and pray I don't see any posts saying that Gazza will be the answer. We don't need to create more chances...we create plenty, even with some of the most flaccid off-the-ball runs I've ever seen. We just need someone to finish.
-Actually, not even that. Just shoot. If we had one guy who just always shot, we would have scored at least 3 goals today.
-************.

-It was, however, great to see Olsen back out there. He played striker for 32 minutes, was involved in a goal called back for offsides, and nearly scored again.

I need to think of a good challenge in CM. My greatest achievement on any version of the game to date is still winning the European Cup with Olympique Marseille - which is harder than you'd think, because despite the fact that they're a big club, none of the good players want to go to France. Nevertheless, I pulled it off with a mix of talent that I bought young and trained myself and aging stars wanting to go out with a bang (my defense featured a 36 year old Bixente Lizarazu).

Win the European Cup with, say...Crystal Palace.

Ever notice in CM that there's always one team that's a gigantic pain in your ass, no matter what league you play? For example, no matter which Italian team I can play, I can never seem to beat Bologna. Ditto with France and Racing Lens, albeit that's okay cause I like Lens.
Whenever I play in Spain Malaga is my biggest pain in the ass. It's ridiculous. Then either Fiorentina or Parma in Italy
--The only highlight of the DC game was Nicols being interviewed on the sideline about the jawing on the sideline he'd been doing with Hudson. Nicols in his thick accent "He can't understand a word I'm saying and I can't understand him"

-I'm not really affiliated with the Fire, but I am a fan, so, for everyone else not affiliated with the Fire, I say "You're Welcome, J"
-I must say that that was probably the best game that I've ever seen on that stupid Naperville field. There was actual movement, space, everything. Of course, it helped that the Fire absolutely dominated the Metros in every aspect of the game. Howard was awesome and the Fire still got three goals. (I'm struggling to avoid the dreaded "we" thing.) Jack overdid his stinking steambath comment, but I liked his "Sahib Ante Razov" one.
-Weirdest thing happened on my CM game. Playing as Extremadura, I won three straight games, including knocking off the #1 team in the league at the time. I don't know if it's my tactics or what, but I'm happy it's going well. Still not in the promotion zone though. I think I'm going to sell off all of my old dudes and try to import some new, young, good ones.
-My day was made by the Fire victory. I even got my dad to watch part of it, though it was after the game was put away.
-Llamas rock.

Nah, because they're in the English league and therefore have some drawing power for players and a potential Premiership windfall, despite the fact that they are, indeed, Crystal Palace. English First Division clubs are easy - if you can get promoted, (and Palace are good enough to do it in one season if managed properly, only Man City, Coventry, and perhaps Wolves have better squads) all you need to do is avoid relegation and the cash will roll in. The rest, after that, is history.
List of clubs I've won the EC with in either 00/01 or 01/02:
Real Madrid
AC Milan
Manchester City
Real Betis Balompie
SL Benfica
Olympique Marseille
Sampdoria

I would give up Moose's legs for a striker about now.

You edit at the speed of light. I'm impressed.
I think I should be able to do well in Europe with Ajax this second season. Actually I have a question...what do you do in the offseason? All my players are losing health.

I thought this was funny:
Who is Jack Schitt?
The Schit Family History is finally revealed. Many people are at a loss for a response when someone says "You don't know Jack Schitt!" Read on and you'll be able to handle the situation intelligently.
Jack is the only son of Awe Schitt and O. Schitt. Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married O. Schitt, a partner of Kneedeep & Schitt, Inc. Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt, and the deeply religious couple begat 6 children: Holie Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Giva Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins, Deap Schitt and Dip Schitt. Against her parents' wishes, Deap Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school dropout. After 15 years of marriage, Jack & Noe Schitt divorced. Noe Schitt later married a Mr. Sherlock, and out of devotion to her children, decided to hyphenate her last name, and became Noe Schitt-Sherlock. Dip Schitt married a woman named Loda Dung, who became Loda Schitt. The couple produced a nervous son, Chicken Schitt. Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt, inseperable thoughout childhood subsequently married the Happens brothers. The local newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens wedding, which was quite an event. The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd, and Hoarse. Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He returned from his travels with his Italian bride, Piza Schitt. So, now if someone says "You don't know Jack Schitt", you can beg to differ. You not only know Jack Schitt, but everyone on the Schitt list!

My internet celebrity ass was sitting in different seats tonight because my dad needed more space. People kept blocking his view and he's trying not to move his neck too much.
I will be at the allstar game alone, because he has other plans.
