I love that it's offered through the USDA, too. How did that happen? Must have been some wacky congressional funding or something...

Thanks. The hour isn't up yet. Maybe I can get registered before I lose the motivation.
No. Guess not.

Good analogy. Unfortunately, fanny packs still exist.
But here in Portland, leg warmers were big with the indie rock/pop girls during the winter.

Maybe all the phrases they teach you are beef related. "I love beef", "No, comrade, I will not become vegan. Please get me a steak now", etc.
I'm doing fine, thanks. The now ex is coming over in a couple hours though.

Chicken pox aren't too bad when you're young. I looked at it as a 2 week vacation from school.
Thanks.
No, can't be shingles because he hasn't had chicken pox before. I can't get shingles from his chicken pox.

Yesterday I went to the doctors and I was told basically that my life is resting in my own hands. I get to pick what happens in the next few months, and I can decide what kind of treatments I get, and if I get treated. I have 3 options, which are basic chemo and radiation, a transplant, or ignoring it and living my life happily right now. One would be inclined to pick the last option, but I know the doctors wouldn't be very happy with it. It scares me because I'm not used to holding the power to what happens with my illness. I hate to admit it, but I'm not strong or adult enough to make my own decisions. Teenagers, without knowing it, think that they can independently make their own choices. When it comes to life changing decisions, I just can't do it. I want the transplant, but even then, my OWN oncologist can't tell me if it'll completely kill the cancer cells. These cells lie dormant and there is no way to tell that they are there. Unfortunately, my cancer cells have been declared aggressive and hard to treat by the oncologists at Stanford Hospital. After cancer has relapsed twice, the cancer cells are considered aggressive.
I want to have control over my life, yet I have no control whatsoever because my cancer is what leads my life. My oncologist is being a pain because he said that it's natural not think about the cancer much, but that's the way I deal with it. It works for me right now. He said that I'm basically letting it take over if I ignore it. Well I say I can do whatever I want.
I have about a month to decide what I want to do about this. I don't even WANT to think about it. I just want to live my life without consequences. None of my friends even understand what it's like to have to worry about it. I HATE MY FRIENDS HERE IN CALI. I have every single one of them, because they always tell me about their little petty problems, and they aren't near as life threatening as mine. I don't rob banks, break hearts, hurt others intentionally, or kill, so why do I feel like I'm paying the price for something I didn't do?
I hate talking to my oncologist about it because he doesn't understand. He just sees it from a medical point of view, and doesn't see it my way at all. He does not have to bargain with his health just to live a few more years. He doesn't have the fear of not living to be 20. He's an old cranky man. He's somewhat nice, but he doesn't understand. I wanted to just ƒ********* him up when he said, "I understand you're angry, but…" because he does not understand. He is NOT me, and he doesn't understand me. He can't read minds, and he is terrible at trying to make people feel better.

-I don't know what my phone # spells out. I haven't bothered checking.
-Oh, if only I could get my ************-kicking boots on and go to Rochester. Then we could go on down to Miami to save the Supporters Shield!!
-Exchange between me and one of the early customers this morning:
Him: I don't want the entire PVC pipe, just 10" of it.
Me: Okay, let me see if I can get someone to help you out wth that.
(I call the dude in charge of the PVC pipes and tell him the guy only wants half of it. Dude in Charge tells me to send the customer to aisle 16, which is not even 10 feet away, so he could cut the pipe in half for him.)
Me: Sir, you can go down aisle 16 and get that taken care of--
Him: Aisle 16?
Me: Yeah, there's someone waiting for you there.
Him: No, I'm not wasting my time.
Me: You sure?
Him: Yes. Huge waste of time.
Uh, it would've taken him about a minute to do all that. Did he really expect me to just take some scissors out and try cutting the pipe in half for him? Moron.

Don't apologize. You have the right to vent.
I'm not even going to try saying I understand what you're going through because the fact is, I don't. I have no idea. But either way, we're all pulling for you. We're here to listen (or..um..read) if you need to vent, and we're here to give you some support. I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

Chrissi, like the others, I'm here if you need anything or just want someone to talk to. I can't imagine what it'd be like to be in your position, and I'm not going to try because I know it's impossible. Love ya lots, you'll be in my prayers.

Chrissi,
I basically echo everyone else in here when I say you'll be in my thoughts and prayers. my heart goes out to you.
and you're absolutely right when you say not everyone understands. and i can't even begin to understand and know what you're going through. But even though you feel like you're not adult enough, it kinda seems like you are. You're looking at your situation very maturely. you've been through so much. you've experienced a lot.
if there's anything we can do, just tell us. We're here to listen.

Chrissi,
This isn't going to be one of my more eloquent or long-winded posts but I just wanted to let you that just like everyone else you'll be in my thoughts and prayers. If you ever need someone to talk to I'm more than willing to listen.

I should hope not.
+ Olympique Lyonnais probably has no money because they spent it all on Sonny Anderson. I bought Ariel Lopez who is almost as good as him and did not cost anywhere as much. I'm really f***ed though, since the Champions League is starting soon and I have no depth in my squad. Also every league match I've played has featured either a legitimate penalty not given to me or penalty kicks given to the opposing team.
Sell Anderson then.
Not having depth sucks. Can you take anyone on loan?
+ Broke up with the girlfriend yesterday.
+ As a consequence, I may be going to Olympia on Saturday, just to get out of town for a day. It all hinges if there is something exciting to do there.
You doing alright?
