I called them up today and I voiced my opinion at the US Soccer House. I told them to get this thing fixed and get it done quick.
(312) 808-1300 is the phone number.
Give them a call and tell them right now to get this problem fixed. Tell them to end this foolishness now.
If you called them. Post here. Show them at Soccer House that this has to be fixed now.
Any Fire fans or Chicago residents who read this. Speak up at Soccer House and make them understand what they are doing is jeperdizing the future of our Men's program to qualify and possibly win the World Cup for 2006.
At the same time all of Europe, South America, & Mexico will enjoy our problems and they will tell us all that Americans don't belong in the sport of Football. Not only are we going to be told off by these jerks but the non-soccer loving public within our own country will tell us this as well.
We are USA United. Go and tell the USSF that everything that has been accomplished will go right down the drain if this pathetic display continues into February 9th at Trinidad & Tobago.

How did they respond to your comments? Did you speak to anyone in particular?

It might not do much, but it just might force a quicker settlement if we let the USSF know that contrary to what they believe, we are in fact, NOT on their side.

I kinda called. I was kinda shocked cause I thought it would be an answering machine or something but there was actually someone there and then I kinda realized that I didn't have anything to say besides, "You guys really suck," which wouldn't have helped matters any. But is there someone specific you ask to speak to cause since this whole thing started I've been looking for someone to complain to because this is all a bunch a crap that should be fixed.

There is a woman there picking up the phone. She will direct you to the Communications department. But still make your voices heard. Call them up and tell them that this is all bollicks.
But please do it in a nice way. Don't be unprofessional about it.
I told her how I felt in a nice way and she listened to me.
Treat her with respect and she will treat you with respect. She was a nice person on the phone.

I told this to the first woman who picked up the phone.
Look are you saying I'm B.S.ing here? I made this decision to tell the USSF that these shananigans have got to stop. I told them that they have to stop this crap.
If you want to see scabs playing for our national team at the Queens park Oval in the Port Of Spain in Trinidad on February 9th then that's your opinion. I want this matter to come to an end and both sides having an agreement.
Either you are with this post or against this post. I want our boys who play in MLS & in Europe to be apart of the Final Round of Qualifying. Not a bunch of weekend warriors who will give up 3 points to the Soca Warriors.

Shouldn't you be running the country instead of posting here?

You proclaiming it classic automatically disqualifies it from any classic status. :D

I think you should go down to Soccerhouse with a fake bomb strapped to you like Chris Farley in Tommy Boy. Be sure the media is there.Yeah, and be sure to sign your Herbie Hancock on a petition, too.

Yeah but the move to proclaim his post as classic was classic.

How about a phone number for the players association so equal bitching can be given to them?

How about stern chiding? They are sort of the lesser of two evils here.

Alright. So it's not a classic. But still In my opinion I think the players showed good faith for the past two seasons playing under the old contract. This time I blame the USSF for not doing the right thing.
In the NHL the players Association is screwing the owners. Here the USSF has to understand this. While we all know that the sport is slowly growing and getting better in both facillites, New Soccer Specific Stadiums and the players are improving every season, the national team will be improving as well. Very soon & it could happen in this coming World Cup who knows, that the USA will be the first national team outside Europe & South America to win the damned thing.
Honestly do you guys want to see a scab team out on the pitch representing the USA and they lose points because they are not at the same level as the T&T Soca Warriors. Both sides have to negotiate I understand, still we have to tell the USSF that they are the ones at fault. You can go online at the US Soccer Players website and do the same. But I honestly feel that the USSF are the ones that have over reacted and they put this situation at a level it should never have been in.
Just read Ives Galarcep's article in the ESPN Soccer Section.

I'm not saying you should crank call the USSF, but please show them that we don't want scab players on the first Qualifying match.

Sadly, after their showing in France '98 the players association was in no position to bargain for a phone, much leass a phone number. They did, however, get an old telegraph station that Uncle Phil found adjacent to his indian burial ground/oil well. They were assured that when the new contract was completed they would get a retroactive phone and number, both going back to '02 and would be allowed to receive all calls made since then, including your complaint, but then that was taken off the table when the Players Association held out for call waiting and three way dialing. Don't they know this an NFP? Their call waiting could mean a future Freddie Adu kicking the ball around some El Paso suburb (if El Paso were ever Urb enough to go Sub) will have to go three more weeks without shoelaces and what will that do to American Soccer As We Know It???
