I've already posted many times how much of a mistake and a step back it was for "the future Maradona" to leave Boca Juniors for Brazil and not straight to the grandest stage of all....Europe. Here is another very good article filled with many facts that proves my point entirely. I really hope Brazil is just a secret part of a bigger plan.

there are two parts to the article with the latter being my focus of opinion.

i think it will only make him better, but i think the best move would have been to go to a small level team in europe.
somewhere in france, holland, portugal, etc.

Im sure that if he had the chance to go to Europe he would have. But no one in Europe was willing to match Corinthians so how can you expect Boca not take $18M? Its not really his choice, in fact he's pissed that he has to leave because of the situation he is in Argentina. He even said in his post game interview the other night he hopes his stay at Corinthians is a quick one.

I think that he wanted to leave to get away from the craziness in his home country, but I also think that once he realized the only club that actually made a bid for him was Corinthians he was pissed, and by that time it was too late.

that cleared a lot up. all you hear in the news, is that he's out partying, being scolded for attitude problems. i hope he plays good in brasil and gets to europe

He confirmed it on live television after the final of the Copa Sudamericana match that he's leaving due to a fear over his private life. So why did he go to Brasil, especially Corinthians where they're known for their extremely violent fans who will stalk you and sometimes stab or try to kill you on the streets just for having a bad game?

He's going to be playing in Brasil all the time, not rotting on the bench in a European league. Good.

I don't think that he would have been sat down in europe, but you do have a good point, at least he will be at a team where he will be the star and he will get to play a lot.

You really think Carlos Teves would go to a major team in Europe and rot on the bench? You're absolutely crazy or you just dislike anyone from Boca Juniors?....

seems obvious to me.....

Until he has a bad game or misses a penalty. Then the supporters will throw rocks at him and chase him down at the bar where they'll probably mug him, beat him up and steal his car.

I could care less if he plays there or not I just hope he comes out alive.

He doesn't normally take penalties. Besides, if he plays the way he's capable of, the torcida will fall in love with him. And he'll be in Europe
soon enough, unless he self-destroys for reasons not related to football. Let's hope not, because he's a great talent.

Yes, it is that bad. Just see Sao Caetano. I beleive the President of that team and the staff doctors are facing life in prison for the murder of one of their players.
