I bought new adidas pulsion boots.Unfortunately they have incredibly long laces. I tried to tie'em up twice, it didn't work; they were too long. From the other hand if my boots were tied under the sole I would have to explore the nearest department store for new laces very soon. I used to put the loops into my boots between the foot and leather side but it's very uncomfortable. Do you have any tips? Thanks.

You can cut them to the desired length and burn the tips of the laces.

just buy some new laces of the same colour

Wrap them around the boot and tie the laces on top - as normal.

The laces don't wear out that fast if you play on grass. They should last at least a year.

I was just thinking last night after lacing up my new pair of Puma KSLs and was mind boggled at the fact that every new pair of soccer shoes must include laces fit fo 125045 hole doc martens. I just either cut them, or buy a new pair to match. Unfortunately there is no good substitute color for that shiny silver that comes with the preds and my KSLs, so i just bought some gray ones, and replaced my pred laces with red ones. Where there's a will there's a new lace.

I just normally tie mine and tuck them into my boots. But the laces on the pulses are WAY too long.

Not only pulses and others from predator series: basically this is a problem of all adidas boots.

i always cut the laces and burn the ends its the best way to do it because you can cut them to your desired length..and you dont have to buy new laces.

I followed some first advices and cut unnecessary part then wraped hot burned ends with a black hockey tape.
