Tottenham are reported to have agreed a deal to sign Czech Republic midfielder David Limbersky on loan.
Limbersky is set to arrive at White Hart Lane on December 28 in a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old currently plays for Czech second division side Plzen after a spell in Italy with Modena last season.
Limbersky was close to sealing a move to Udinese in the summer only for the deal to fall through at the last minute.
Spurs boss Martin Jol is keen to bolster his squad for the second half of the season and has made a right-sided midfielder one of his top priorities with Pedro Mendes being forced to play out of position on occasions this season
Limbersky is delighted with the move to England and claims he has been promised a role in the first team.
"I'm delighted with the move. It's always been my dream to play in England," said Limbersky.
"There are many good players at Tottenham, but in the role of right-sided midfielder Jol has used various players and he has promised that he will give me one chance to play there."

Never heard of him but we do need something on the right hand side.

Ricketts has been getting better with every game but after him there's not really anyone.
I noticed on Saturday Jol was getting Ricketts to almost play like a striker at times. When Kanoute came wide (which he often does) he got Ricketts to hit the middle of the park. I actually saw once when Ricketts was tracking back helping out Pamarot and Jol was yelling at him to go right up front (even though Southampton had the ball in a deep position for Spurs).

I reckon there's a couple of possible situations occurring here.
First possibility is Simon Davies is going to leave, probably for Everton. Personally i'd like him to be given time to recover his top form but everyone's got their price (apart from Defoe!!)
Second possibility is Ledley going to Juventus. Apparently this David Limbersky fella is actually owned by Juventus and may be some kind of makeweight in a deal for Ledley. If that's the case then this guy will have to be pretty phenomenal

If you put Defoe in the untouchable list, Ledley is there too.

Can't find too much on the net about this czech fella but here's a thread from some italian and czech fans raving about him:

I bet this guy is quite good. The Czechs won the U19 trophy (Cech was in the team) a few years back and many of that side are now in the full squad, guessing Limbersky is slightly younger than them and is the next generation.

I was going to say that. I think we have to build a strong squad & not sell players like Davies or Keane. We should be looking to get rid of Bunjevcevic, Richards & Redknapp.
I saw quotes from Arneson saying that David Limbersky is ready to play in the first team straight away unlike some of the players we signed like Edson Silva & Defendi who went into the reserves

Interesting. I don't know anything about him, but we do need another right sided midfielder. I also would really hate to see Davies go. Jol is doing a great job, and I like his style, so if he supports this guy, I'm sure willing to give him some time to adjust and evaluate him as a work-in-progress.

His dream is to see once on his own eyes match of Arsenal London. "My idol was Lundberg, but don't play no longer. Now I like T.Henry, he is unbeleviable fast and very skilled on the ball. I like whole Arsenal team, i like the style they play, for example if Arsenal will play Sparta Prague in champions league i will go to Prague to see this match for sure," says his wish David. And what about to play for Arsenal one day? "This is too far away," he is shocked."Meanwhile I'm young and I'm at the beginig. In future can everything happen, but I'm not looking in that far future. Now I want to play there in Plzen!"
Holy tits Batman!

If he is even half as good as Nedved we will have picked up a good player.

He is very keen
Good for him, there is a definite space for him on the wings, especially the right.

Glad to have him on loan, hope he works out. My only questions are if he can come in from the Czech Div. II right into the Prem. and why is he in the Czech Div. II at 21 y.o. if he's all that and a side of fries?

Udinese in Serie A wanted him last season, but there were work permit problems. So he's allegedly/apparantely good.
