Newcastle skipper Alan Shearer is still determined to call time on his playing career at the end of the season.

If Newcaslte get a champions league spot and Alan doesn't suffer from any more injuries..he'll be back...if things stay on they way they are going then he's done after this season.my2cents.

Shearer is a man of his word. When he retired from playing for England. Everyone wanted him to pull the three lions shirt on again. I think that he'll be groomed to take over the managers job at St James Park.

Yeah, we know. It's just that the MetroStars could use a quality striker, and Big Al could probably do a decent job in MLS ;).

Good heavens...why would he ever want to play for another team that never wins any real trophies? ;)

He wouldn't want to go to DC. Too great a chance that Dema might break his leg during training. ;)
