A word about ESPN Deportes:
A little bit behind jumping on the bandwagon, arent' they?
Besides, it just shows that had Uncle Phil not thrown big bucks (worthless Qwest stock) at Disney, there would be NO soccer on ESPN or ESPN2 for their domestic viewers only.

the thing is, we don't know if espn will still have the
rights to cl and la liga
next year. because if they
don't, then espn deportes
will be worthless.

i'm studying abroad right now in Ghana and so i watch four cl games a week. but only because i don't really feel like sticking around for the games in russia, or else i'd watch 6. everybody here thinks seamus malin is a fool. man, it's nice to be part of the international audience.

I get a kick out of Mike Hill and Tommy Smyth only cause they are polar opposites of eachother. I dont count on Tommy Smyth to provide insightful color commentary so maybe that is why i can not only tolerate him but enjoy him.

Whats wrong with Tommy Smyth? I don't see anything wrong with his commentating. Oh, and ESPN are stupid bastards. Damn those redneck sports.
He is absolutely useless. I used to work on ESPN's SportsCenter International programme and the guy is a complete idiot. He consistently talks absolute crap and makes bad calls about what has happened on the pitch, refusing to acknowledge his mistakes even when slow-mo replays show him up to be the ignoramus that he is. He also uses the phrase "Dere's de ball in de old onion bag" far too often.

What has you working on Sports Centre Int got to do with Tommy Smyth. Sport Centre is produced in England . So how would you know tommy Smyth. As for the Onion Bag " many of us have counted , he uses it once per game." I think you are a fake , as far as your job resume is concerned.Tell me one thing about Sport Centre that would prove you worked on it . Did you work in Bristol or England or where. I have watched Sports Centre in South America, most of the announcers have no clue. They dont know American sports , and always get the names wrong. So you were part of that crap, you must be really talanted. Sports Centre Int is the worst kind of a copy, it not shadow of Sports Centre . Its a disgrace that it is allowed to use the name of a real good TV program.
