Damn they look nice. They stand out a lot and seem different than what were used to. They should relaunch a lot of the retro shoes and add some of the new technology they have.

I'm seriously looking into buying a pair of the black SG ones. The lines are so smooth...I really need to see what the leather is like first, though.

One thing I noticed-- the baseplate seems like it's all metal. Kind of prone to scratches and whatnot. Looks more like a rugby boot IMO.

The Legends are some of the greatest looking boots to come out of the nike camp in a while. Classic look, great lines, no frills, no flash (minus the chrome on the bottom) plain football boot. I can't wait to try a pair out on the pitch.

Are the phemon and talents going to be the lesser of the legend looking shoes? Does anyone have any info on those lines of boots? Thanks

do not diss nike, they are by far greater than what addidas are, the preds are only famous due to beckham and they are ruined now, becks turn them into a fashion ikon now they are ruined, the desginer (craig johnson) left addidas when he realised what they were doing with this and we all know the pig rumor and well i have herd he is still bringin it out, he's got a promotion deal with rebok and im not sure when they are coming out but trust me i deffinatley know they are made! they are two types, one type is the one that can be screwd on and the other is a boot desgin, both are different and well they both look rly wierd lol, here are a few pics;

Johnston "left" adidas because he sold them the design then worked with them on the first 3 or four designs, after that his contract ran out and he was not longer required. he didnt leave adidas for some noble cause, if he could be there right now rolling in the cash from the predators he would in second.

As for the pig design that stuff has been making the rounds since right after WC 02. No one will touch it because pros can't cover their sponsors boot with a rubber cap, its a novel idea and little kids and moron soccer moms with mini vans will buy it up I am sure, but don't count on it making an impact with anyone past the age of 13.

Johnston with reebok doesnt suprise me because he still has ties with his former club liverpool and they are thier kit sponsers. plus reebok would go for somehting like the pig because their football division lacks direction and they stink of despration and bad ideas.


Nike did have a shoe that was thier version of the Copa, the Tiempo Permier and for some reason they are not going to sell it anymore, at least not in the US
