So there are 11 in the first team squad out of contract. Does anyone have a full list - and who do we think should get a new one.
The ones I know are:-
1. Graves - no doubt being offer whatever he wants - but is his heart at Goodison?
2. Stubbsy - sure we'll sort this out soon - he deserves at least 1 year.
3. Weir - as Stubbs, has been outstanding this season
Nigel Martyn - where is Richard Wright? Gotta have a decent keeper!
Not sure about the rest but probably Fergie, Kevin playing for a contract.
Would be interested to hear about any others people know and their views.

I don't like Pistone all that much, hopefully Naysmith will be back on the left some time this season..

Welcome newbie!
Pistone has actually been halfway decent this season, though I can't say I'd like him to stick around either. I'd just hate to break up that back four with as superb as they've been all season. Chemistry like that is hard to find.

Aye, a good point there. That's what i think is going to be a problem when January comes around..
If we bring in new players, will we still play as well together...?

Yeah, I heard Moyes is reluctant to spend any money in January for that reason. I think it's smart, but it also worries me because of the injury/suspension threat. If we lose a man or two for any length of time, we're in serious trouble.
These 11 guys have played their hearts out this season and I don't want anything to mess that up. They deserve to finish what they've started.

I personally don't like Pistone at all, don't think he ever warranted a place in the team but hasn't been half bad this season. Although i'm still puzzled by why Unsworth left, or we let him go? My memory is shít. I find out stuff then completely forget it.

Pistone is having a great season so far, and I would rather have him than Naysmith, who I don't rate at all. What we need is another forward, and I think Beattie will be the one Moyes signs in Jan, then a couple of decent midfielders who can pass a ball.
Workrate only gets you so far, which is why we need someone to help out Tommy in midfield, then we can think about finishing the season as we have started it. Parker is out now, so that leaves us with a couple of alternatives, maybe Cole or Koumas. Please no Savage :)
We need to get the squad bigger as suspensions and injuries will start taking their toll. But I trust Moyes in whoever he brings in, but please no Savage.

You'd really offer Pistone a 3-year extension? I wouldn't! I'd give him one year, two max. He's playing for a contract now and isn't too terrible, but last year he was pure crap. I want one more year of proof.
Other than Pistone, I agree with what you said. Gotta keep Gravs as long as possible, and I think Osman is gonna be really good given more experience. Oh, and I'd say buh-bye to Big Dunc. We can do better than him.
But really awesome list. Thanks for the work on it.
