Real Madrid v Juventus
Porto v Inter Milan
Barcelona v Chelsea
Werder Bremen v Lyon
Liverpool v Bayer Leverkusen
PSV Eindhoven v Monaco
Man Utd v AC Milan
Bayern Munich v Arsenal

hell, don't know why this season all the big guns are forced to eliminate each other so early. To me, this is the most interesting draw in the recent years.

I think Bayern will beat Arsenal in this round, have them ever met before ??

Wow, it's really interesting to see the faceoff Kahn vs Lehman :D :D .

This is one of the best draws Bayern could've hoped for. As long as Kahn doesn't make any of those stupid mistakes Bayern will win.

I think all german teams if they play up to their best, they have no problem to qualify.
Lyon are a strong team, top of the France league and group D but they didn't impress me at all when they come to old trafford.
pretty weak offense and nothing is really special from this team. Bremen will crush them like MU did at home 2-0 and a draw in the return leg.

Liverpool-Leverkusen: well, if the main strikers of the red team are back from injuries on time, Leverkusen will find it tough to get a win here, but why not a draw. I watched liverpool sometimes and they failed to entertain me much, not strong on offense. ;) . They might want to revenge for the lose in 2002 but i just dont' think it's easy this time. :D ,

Leverkusen have been very strong at home, scored 3 goals in every home game, so if they can continue this form, then just no chance for liverpool

Great draw.

Kahn vs. Lehmann, I actually hope Lehmann get's humilated both by Bayern and by Bayern's fans.

Og course I don't want Bayern to win the CL but I'd rather see then lose in a later round.

I am not the happiest with the draw but optimistic. I hate Arsenal more then any other team, so to eliminate them with Lehman and that horsehead coach will be sweet
BAYERN BAYERN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the entire draw, not just Bayern-Arsenal, is very interesting because the teams are exactly evenly matched, with the exception of ManU-Milan, perhaps.

Hey, I got my wish---Arsenal. I don't dislike them, but I do think Bayern have a very good chance to progress. Bremen and Leverkusen I think are going to do all right as well.

the Chelsea and Barcelona matchup looks awesome. Who thinks ManU is going out after this round? I also hope than Madrid get their asses handed to them.

I agree. I hope that you are suggesting that AC Milan are more dominant that ManU. That is my perception.

I will take Arsenal... a team that is all attack and no defense. This should play right into Munich's hands. Munich struggles mostly with teams that defend well. I am excited... I have students who are huge Arsenal fans and we will be huddled around the monitor that day!!!

The other German teams have an equal chance. Leverkusen couldn't have drawn any better. Perhaps with an in-form Landon Donovan coming off the bench they will be through to the next round. Bremen have it a bit tougher... those French teams are so unpredictable but typically very well organized. That should be a particularly good matchup.

The weakest game of the lot is the Porto-Inter match I feel. Eindhoven and Beasley have a nice chance to advance, but Monaco are returning finalists.

GO FC BAYERN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(come on Scholl and Sagnol... make your recoveries SOON!!!)

Could be the series rides on the performance of two GK's. We know too well how Kahn can gaff. Best of luck to you. JPeG is coming!!!!!

Bayern-Arsenal evenly matched? I don't think so..

We outclass you in every single position, so I think you guys need to wake up from 'Bayern being a great team' dream. You guys are merely average, so I expect us to advance without many problems.

I doubt it will be an easy game, but it should be a great one. Can't wait for it.

No defence?

We don't concede much from open play, must of our conceded goals come from set-pieces. So honestly I don't see you guys troubling us apart from crosses.

I expect Bayern to win this one. Arse*** have never beaten a single half decent team in a CL knockout tie and will be vulnerable to the likes of Makaay.

Good luck Bayern.

Arsenal… the dirtiest ugliest team I have ever seen, they blame everyone when they loose but themselves, in Europe they are less then average, and their stadium is so small you feel like you play indoor football.
BAYERN FOREVER

So many of you Munich fans have expressed your satisfaction with playing Arsenal. Is it because of our recent form in the EPL? Well, we are close to being back to our best. Remember that you will have to contend with the likes of Thierry Henry and others.

The reason I think is that Arsenal have a habit of choking in the big games, especially in Europe. After all they stumbled through the weakest group in the competition, have been in poor form of late and have never beaten a side as good or organised as Bayern.
