What is it with Real Madrid and their endless interest in Arsenal players. Are there any Arsenal players they don't have an interest in? Do you think we could persuade them to offer many millions of dollars for Cygan - Real need defenders don't they? :D

I mean Lundjberg, Edu, Viera, Cole, Henry, Lauren, Pires - there has not been many that Real don't express an interest in. Why don't they sod off and annoy some other succesful clubs somewhere. They are an example of Chelski style capatalism on steroids.
Mind you, I like the idea of 20 million quid and a shirt deal. If we have to take Bex thrown into that deal then we could play him in the two's and not let him near any penalty taking ;).

I respect the club from Madrid but their president is a complete wanker."We have already signed Lauren" and etc. is just revolting. Arent there FIFA rules that a club cant talk to another club if they are still contracted for more than 6 months(or Bosman).

Not many people know what the rules are. Luckily for you, I am one of the few!
Before the 6 month period, opposition clubs can speak to a player and agree a pre-contract, but only if they have permission from the club for the initial approach. When within the 6 month period, opposition clubs can do whatever they want without needing any permission at all.

The problem being that I suspect they haven't spoken to Arsenal about him...
To be honest though, it's generally more funny than annoying to me. I mean trying to persuade Ashley Cole to move so recently after the racist chanting smacks of stupidity.
