Yes he was! I think it was in the semi finals that year against Madrid (might have been quarter finals) where Owen did an impressive job of marking Figo.

He also did a great job, maybe the best player for Bayern in the final match against Valencia. He replaced the injured Jeremies. ;)

Exactly... he was an inspiration really, helping the team through the semis and finals. He made his name that series and help to his full-time promotion to the England National team under Erickson.
