Bit of an early start for this thread but this didn't really deserve its own thread.

Yey! My favourite player so far this season.
Anyway, I'm back from Uni now and will be at this one. Anyone else there?
Interesting fact about this season is, I think I'm right in saying Spurs have won two home games this season, Birmingham and Middlesbrough. Funnily enough the only two games I've managed to catch this season ;)

----------Robinson
Pamarot--King--Naybet--Edman
Mendes--Carrick--Brown--Ziegler
---------Defoe--Keane
Naybet is a doubt so either Gardner or Davenport will be on standby. Also Ricketts could play on the right & move Mendes in place of Brown.
Martin Jol reported that Simon Davies, back in light training after a virus and Sean Davis, recovering from knee surgery, were both expected to return to training in two to three weeks

metropolis2k losing your bearings mate :D
Should be a tricky match this one. On paper with us on a good run and Southampton struggling we should be looking at another 3 points. However in real terms I expect Redknapp to have his boys at 110%, they will be fired up from throwing away that 2 goal lead against Boro and will want to impress Harry, otherwise with his willingness to work in the transfer market they will find themselves shipped out in January.
Our home form hasn't been good enough this season, grinding out a win of any description would keep us moving along.

Haha I know, I must be losing the grip in my old age...
My formation would be...
Robinson
Pamarot King Gardner Edman
Ricketts Brown Carrick Ziegler
Keane Defoe
However, that is only going with Gardner over Davenport because he's got Premiership experience already and I also think there is a lack of height and physical presence in the wingers and strikers so who knows how it will be.

Not really sure. Spurs of old would be just the team to kickstart someone else's season, but i am not sure the new Spurs are so charitable.
Going for 4 wins in a row, at home, against 19th? placed Southampton and going for a top half position.
I think we'll win it. The team's on a high and Soton just blew a 2-0 lead in the final 5 minutes of their last game (hahaha).
3-1. Defoe with 2.

Kanoute is our in form striker, he must start. I hope Jol keeps the Keane - Kanoute partnership for this game. No need to rush Defoe into the team, when our other strikers has had a good game.

Lol this thread was started in soccer equipment.?
Should be a game that Spurs win, but will lose to a Philips goal.
Reversing the Danners jinx.

Both Kelly and Naybet are out with injury.
Official squad:
Robinson, Fulop, Pamarot, King, Gardner, Davenport, Atouba, Ziegler, Carrick, Brown, Redknapp, Mendes, Ricketts, Defoe, Keane, Kanoute, Yeates.
--------------------------------
My choice would be:
Keane - Kanoute
Ziegler - Carrick - Brown - Mendes
Atouba - Gardner - King - Pamarot
Robinson
Fulop, Davenport, Redknapp, Yeates, Defoe
Ricketts in the stands ..
Would love to see Yeates get a decent chance, he has been on fire for the reserves and deserves a shot.

From Rabbi's team i would have Defoe in for Keane. Jol likes to rotate the strikers. Also Ricketts may be on the bench instead of Yeates as Ricketts is the only creative midfielder in the squad apart from Ziegler.

Yeates is also a creative midfielder, can play in any offensive position. Also a lot better player than Ricketts.
