Someone posted this thread (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=156920) over on the CONCACAF boards claiming that the Basque "National" team is going to be playing Honduras in a couple of weeks. I was curious about this and wondering if anyone had some more info about it since the original poster was pretty vague.

I'm sure Bilbao2Brooklyn will make an appearance to answer your questions.
As long as we're on the topic, I'd like to know if any French Basques have ever played for the Basque Nat'l team, like Deschamps or Lizarazu...

It can't be considered a national team because that is a region and not a country, and I will move this over to the Basque Teams Forum.

Will Alonso be able to get away from Liverpool at that time? I think they're playing on th 26th, 28th, and 1st. Quango

Where can I get the Basque jersey in these photos????Try
WWW.SOCCER-SPAIN.COM (http://www.soccer-spain.com/)
they might not have that exact one. they may still only have last years.
Otherwise, try www.astore.es (http://www.astore.es/), they make the basque jersey.

You know what the problem with this avatar is, I am constantly stopping to stare at it. It is very distracting.

Mucho jamon para los juevos on that avatar.
Hey, I got the two jerseys already -- not bad service, eh?
Anyone know who if anyone has the numeral 5 on the Basque national selection?

That's the first time I can recall ever being quoted in a sig.
Eskerrik asco B2B... I'm honored. :o
This link (http://www.are-cayce.org/readings/0364/003.html) could probably have it's own thread as to the origins of the Basque people. Let me know if it should be so.
