hya, i played as a right mid last season but the first match of the season the coach tried playing me up front and i played well and scored twice so ive been played ther all season, but now ive only scored once since! and when i played in midfield i was more defesive minded and i prefere to play in defense- should i stick at it as a striker or ask to be moved back?

If you were doing really badly your coach wouldn't still be playing you up front. You can either just work on getting your confidence and form back or you could have a word with your coach and voice your concerns. Say to him you feel like you're not playing your best up there and ask what he thinks about it.
I don't like playing out of my usual positions at first but it's a case of adaptation. I'd like to be able to pride myself on being able to play in a lot of positions. I'm usually central midfield but I can also play left or right midfield, left or right back and up front.

I'm in a scoring slump myself....I'm a natural attacking player wherever I am (I'm no good at defense no matter how hard I try) and until 2 weeks ago I was on an unverified 15-20 game scoring streak. I wasn't getting 3-4 goals a game, but 1-2 was unquestionable. Now I haven't scored or even gotten a decent shot on goal in my last 3 games and I'm starting to get worried (not really, but it's annoying!) . Hopefully tonight will be the night, let's go!

The trouble with playing up front is if you dont score any goals then people say you've had a bad game. Yes, its mainly your job to score goals. But sometimes strikers can have a good game without actually scoring.
If you confidence level is low. Then next time you play. Try and think about how many times you hold the ball up for a team mate. Or how many passes you have made that helped to create a goal. Or anything positive that you've done in the game.
You need to get your confidence back and yes, scoring goals would help do that. But until you do get your confidence back you arent going to score. So you just need to keep your head up and focus on the GOOD things you are doing in your games and then the goals should come on there own.
Chin up!

I managed a goal in the wednesday game against the best team in the league, which was OK but I found myself quite frustrated after the game so I stayed late and practiced my shooting.

Glad that you got a goal. But the more frustrated you get and the more pressure you pile on yourself the harder it will be to enjoy your football and i believe its when you enjoy your football you play at the top of your game.

+1!
I'm absolutely loving my football at the moment. It's the happiest I've been playing since I can remember and coincidently I'm also playing the best I've played.
This is why I admire Ronaldinho so much. He just plays with a huge smile on his face. If he gets knocked down, he doesn't mind, he'll just get up and try it again. That's how football should be.
