If you read the official site you'll notice the club version on the AGM.
The 3 main motions being passed by a massive majority.
Don't be fooled into thinking everyone loves the board.
This is Browns style of democracy, some 6 people own 95% of the clubs shares. So such a vote may have been his 6 cronies in favour. A couple of hundred people against. This is why the vote looks so massive in favour of Brown. If you read he has cut his wages to 120,000 pound a year. Its true, he still earns more than triple what other 2nd tier chairmen earn.
BROWN OUT.

Here's something from "The Sun"*** I know, but I have to keep in "real" touch with the UK when I'm travelling.
WEST HAM chairman Terence Brown has admitted the club made mistakes by wasting the money they received for Rio Ferdinand and for paying too much for flop Don Hutchison.
Brown was responding to questions from shareholders at Monday’s AGM held at the Upton Park ground.
He said: “We have to take responsibility for mistakes. They included the way the Rio Ferdinand money was used as well as spending £10million on Don Hutchison.
“At the start of our relegation season we only had five forwards at the club and we should have found another one.
“Once we bought Les Ferdinand in the transfer window our record was second only to Manchester United and we went down with 42 points despite clubs now looking to 40 points as a safety margin.”
Despite costing the club £5m when signed by former boss Glenn Roeder from Sunderland in August 2001, Scottish international Hutchison has proved poor value.
At wages of £28,000 per week, the former Liverpool, Sheffield United and Everton attacker has made just 36 league starts and scored four goals.
Previous manager Harry Redknapp sold England defender Rio Ferdinand to Leeds for a then record English fee of £18m.
Of the six players bought with the proceeds of that sale only Christian Dailly remains at the club.
Defenders Ragnvald Soma, Rigobert Song and Hayden Foxe made a total of 33 performances while strikers Titi Camara and Svetoslav Todorov scored just one goal between them in nine games.
However, Brown did have some good news for supporters still smarting at their Championship status.
He added: “Club debt has reduced from a high when we were in the Premiership of £48m and will be down to £23m by August.
“Should we return to the Premiership we would be in a healthier financial position than when we left.
“And following consultations with our bondholders committee and their chairman Andy Ellis I’m happy to reveal my salary has been reduced to £120,000 with my pension all but abolished.
“If we do go up I don’t get a bonus. And my example has been followed by the non-executive directors of the company.”
The meeting started on an embarrassing note as the board were quizzed by a supporter they have taken to court.
Mike Hanna is being sued by the Hammers board for libel following comments he made in the name of a group of shareholders known as “Whistle”.
And following a motion to agree last year’s accounts, Hanna took the opportunity to spend an hour asking questions of the four board members present.
Despite the stormy exchanges of recent years, the meeting was conducted in a polite and orderly manner.

Yeah I did see it Mike and I was amazed ( I know I should be used to it by now) that Brown seemed to be crowing about his massive majority in the voting.
I assume he thinks the fans, or at least the media and outside observers, are either completely stupid or ignorant, or both, of the set up at West Ham.
It's not a democratic process, it makes the elections in the Ukraine look fair and above board. In the last 'election' in Iraq Saddam reportedly recieved 101% of the vote, I bet Brown's jealous of that!!
Almost all the votes cast for Brown and for Brown's motions were cast by Brown. The 29,000 votes against his regime represents almost ALL of the votes that are outside his control.
Mr.Brown is not as popular as he's trying to pretend and his 'customers' are not as stupid as he likes to think.
BROWN OUT!!

I saw this as well but the point i make is that neither Brown or the board have taken Mike Hanna to court. West Ham have taken Mike Hanna to court. Therefore the board cannot loose as the legal money comes out of the clubs profits. Mike Hanna a lifelong West Ham fan is being sued for not agreeing with, & questioning the way the club is run by Brown.
BROWN OUT.

Hedley Lamarr: Meeting adjourned! Oh, I am sorry sir I didn't mean to overstep my bounds, you say that.
Governor Lepetomane: What?
Hedley Lamarr: Meeting is adjourned.
Governor Lepetomane: It is?
Hedley Lamarr: No, you say that governor!
Governor Lepetomane: What?
Hedley Lamarr: Meeting is adjourned!
Governor Lepetomane: It is?
Hedley Lamarr: Here sir, play with this! [Hands the governor a rubber ball and paddle set.]

I think a defence lawyer would have a field day with that. If the point of the argument is that management are to blame for the demise of the club itself then money cannot be used from the club to support the case of the prosecution. Who or what is West Ham. I would imagine for West Ham to submit the law suit then 100% of shareholders would have to be in agreement as they for all intents the CLUB. If this is the case ok, if it's not then it should be Brown vs Hanna. Just my opinion.

I know what you're getting at Shootemlow but as West Ham United is not a PLC then in only requires a majority of the board to agree a motion to sue Mike Hanna for the suit to be brough against him in the name of the club.
Personally I'm looking forward to the case because in order for Brown to succeed in his defamation claim he will have to prove 'beyond the balance of probability' that he has NOT mismanaged the club and it's finances.
That would have been difficult enough anyway, but he's made this particularly hard for himself by reportedly admitting at the AGM that the £18Million from Rio's transfer was spent unwisely. 1-0 to Mike Hanna I think!!

I think you got it in one Rob, WHU is not a PLC. Probably badly put but the point of the thread is, Brown style of management. Brown can't loose unless Cearns and Hills turn against him.
I to look forward to the case and think the fans should hold a whip round for Mikes legal fees.
