I'm done! Just took my last final tonight and I think I did all right. Essay questions are my weaknesses, but I think I've answered satisfactorily to pass. Now just wait for final grades, which should be passing. Now I can play! Woohoo!

Just looked up my grades and they aren't what I expected. Usually getting grades I don't expect is good but I managed to lower 3 out of 4 grades after taking the finals (the other class had no final). One grade droped from a respectable D to a F :(, another from B to C :( (again) and the third from B to B-. Combine those with the B- in my English class and my GPA for the semester is... *drumroll*...... 1.83 . My parents won't be seeing these grades until after Christmas.

In other unrelated news my average BAC for the semester came out to .234 and 1 XBOX controller was broke from overuse in the semester.

UCKFAY!

Kids, go to class in the month before finals, you probably won't regret it.

My grades just came in as well. I had 6 marks, and 5 of them were different!

I got a PS in Biology (I took it pass/fail)
I got a W in Computer Ethics (the teacher was horrid, so I withdrew and scheduled an intersession course to fill that requirement.)
I got an S in my education internship (Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grading)
I got an A in my Methods of teaching English class
I got a B+ in Public Speaking and
I got a B+ in Topics of Linguistics

Overall GPA for the semester: 3.5 (though only half of the marks counted towards the GPA).

On an uglier note, after my internship school had ONE English teacher willing to take a student teacher, Towson had to scramble to find other placements for the other 8 English Education majors. As a result, it is less than one month until the start of the High School rotation of student teaching, and I have no clue where I will be doing it. On a brighter note, the middle school I interned at was fantastic, and I'll be doing the Middle School rotation of student teaching there in late March. Can't wait!!!

*Whew*
2 classes, 2 B+s. And boy did I mail it in this semester...

And as I approach this, my final semester of reasonably compulsory scholastic attendance, I will once again repeat the mantra: "I won't do that again next semester... I won't do that again next semester..."
:D

Family Systems & Theories: B+
Clinical Theories & Techniques: B-

Whew! Family Systems was relatively easy. Clinical Theories was tough because of the exams; they were essay questions that made you think about what you should apply.
