During my indoor game last night, a freekick was awarded to my team and i took it. i hit the ball low and hard into the box and it got deflected in by a defender. I was just wondering if the goal will be counted as mine or as an own goal?

i think it depends whether it was going in or not- if it was it should be yours but if it wasn't it is an og

Yes rebounds like in your case count for shooter. Lets say if the ball changes its trajectory on 90 and more degrees this goal counts for unlucky defender (or whoever that was) ex. If you crossed the ball and one of your opponents suddenly flicked it to his own goal post.
