Club says its not true. The quotes from Hoddle are in the Sunday People, they're a tabloid who do not like Hoddle at all. Interested to see Hoddle's reaction though, if he denies it.
Certainly we can only hope that this is completely false. Hoddle tried and failed, could have been made easier for him without Pleat, but his transfer policy and his man management were poor. No way I would accept him coming back in place of Jol and Arneson.

I still worship Hoddle, he is the greatest living Spur, but I don't want him back as manager or anything on the football side. He pisses people off too easily.

Hidden agenda by a journalist to get at Hoddle. He's not well liked by them and is easy prey, because he opens himself up to say stupid things. This info was probably handed to someone months ago and they waited until he got a new job.
Why sign with Wolves, albeit for a short period of time, and then go after the Spurs job? Wolves would have offered him the 6 month deal because that's when the end of the season is, then re-evaluate based on performance - same as Palace did to Dowie.
Hoddle's not coming back and the Sunday People is a ******** newspaper. I feel sort of degraded having to call it a "news"paper. When really it's just colourful toilet paper - so, ******** paper is pretty accurate.

as much as i thought hoddle's sacking was wrong, i don't want to see him back at spurs for a very long time. we need a consistent set up for a good 5 years and beyond. management, players, owners, trainers the whole nine yards no more of this, 3 threes and start again nonsense.
