Mallorca could use him. Although, who they could really use is Eto'o.

Is this guy any good?

Answering my own question: he apparently won Most Promising Asian Player 2004. He has signed and will start after the winter holiday. Q

Okubo scored on his debut, getting the teams second goal to draw with Depor. Nice start. Q

Mallorca are bringing in a lot of new faces to survive the threat of relegation.

"Former Juventus defender Mark Iuliano said he was looking for a new challenge after deciding to leave the Serie A side and sign a two and a half-year deal with Primera Liga strugglers Real Mallorca.

'The club president Mateu Alemany took just 15 minutes to convince me that I should come,' the former Italy international said at a news conference in Palma de Mallorca on Thursday.

'It is a great opportunity for me in every sense, both in personal and sporting terms.'"

It probably wouldn't take 4 minutes to convince me to move to Mallorca :D Glad to see they are making a run at it. Okubo has already given them some hope. Quango

Okubo led Mallorca to a 3-0 pounding of La Coruna this weekend and moved the team out of the relegation zone for the first time in eight months. What a final run by these guys.

Mallorca face Betis this weekend. A win guarentees their Liga survival! Go Mallorca!
