Yet another important game today and if we could pick up 3 points it would set us on a bit of a roll.
Tottenham (from): Robinson, Pamarot, King, Davenport, Kelly, Naybet, Gardner, Jackson, Atouba, Ricketts, Pedro Mendes, Carrick, Redknapp, Brown, Keane, Kanoute, Defoe, Fulop.
Man City (from): James, Waterreus, Mills, Distin, Dunne, Jordan, Sommeil, Onuoha, S Wright-Phillips, Bosvelt, Flood, Barton, Sibierski, Fowler, Macken, Anelka, B Wright-Phillips.

Remember Defoe is suspended.
The team is up on Sky Sports. I think this will be the formation but I'm not sure about left midfield. Mendes seems to be Jol's most versatile player!
Robinson
Pamarot Naybet King Atouba
Ricketts Brown Carrick Mendes
Kanoute Keane
Otherwise it could always be a 3-5-2 with Atouba and Ricketts as wing-backs but I think that's highly unlikely.

I'm disappointed that Stephen Kelly dropped to the bench. But it's good to see Robbie Keane has made it.
The bench is: Fulop, Redknapp, Kelly, Yeates & Gardner

I wonder if Jol thinks Ricketts needs a big strong guy behind him as support as Ricketts doesn't have the biggest physical prescence.

Can't really tell much from the start. We've had a few chances, they've had a few.
It does sound like maybe Ricketts is on the left.

1-0. Classic finish from Kanoute apparantly.
At half time Kelly replaced Mendes and Gardner replaced Naybet.
I think Atouba has gone to left midfield, Ricketts to right and Kelly to left back.
EDIT: Redknapp has now replaced Ricketts. Looking for someone to keep the ball I guess.

1-0 full time, a great result, 3 wins and 3 cleansheets in a row
Southampton, Norwich and Crystal Palace next. Could well go from a run of 6 defeats to 6 wins.

Another excellent result. If we can turn over the next three then we would be in a great position.

Very nice, corner has been turned in recent weeks and we're 3 points off 6th spot!

3 wins in a row, 3 clean sheets in a row & with Southampton at home, Norwich away then Palace at home we can hopefully fly up the table. Good goal by Kanoute. Michael Brown has been very good recently. We have already won 4 games away this season (Newcastle, Everton, Blackburn & Man City)

So far so promising in the Jol regime. A tough start but he's really moving things along now. The organisation and team spirit has been excellent, and tactically he seems to have found the right balance between Santini's bus and attacking football.

This had me worried for a while though. **** off David Sullivan! Just when we're getting things together, dickheads want to get involved and undo it.

Danners, you bastard, don't go tempting fate like that!! If we lose any of these upcoming games, I'm going to hold you personally responsible. ;)
Keano really does need to get his rarse-clart shooting boots on, he could've had a hat-trick of goals today, instead of a hat-trick of comic attempts. Ireland's greatest ever goalscorer? How many wanker chances does this eejit have at international level?

Not tempting fate, it's a fact ;)
Until tomorrow or today now, when Villa play against the Brummies.

Like everyone else is saying -- 9 points in the last three matches, 6 on the road, Southampton at home next week -- things are looking good. Citeh looked god-awful today, part of that was our defense, who did well. But our mid-field, especially first half I thought was ready to be exploited, Citeh just weren't up for it. Of course when you go up against a team that is flat, its imperative that you take full points, and no matter how dull the match was at times, we did just that. Keano really has to finish at least one of those chances, nice goal from Kanoute.

Kanoute has risen back to grace after this game. Lets not sell him.

Heh heh. I think everyone should thank me for jinxing pleat. After we'd gone on a decent run I trilled, "Oh sod it, just give Pleat the job!" And he got axed!
So in a weird reverse way, I'm going to say that I never, ever want Thierry Henry to join Spurs.
