Amazing, 600 million Euros per season. Comparison:
English Premiership (550 mio.)
Italian Serie A (530 mio.)
German Bundesliga (286.5 mio.)
Spanish Primera División (228 mio.)
Further evidence that the French league is closing the gap...

Do you have any idea what Ligue was receiving before? This sort of cash infusion could really change the Euro landscape as France produces tremondous amounts of talent, and if their teams can afford to keep it....
Also is La Primera going to re-negotiate its deal any time soon?

Yes, it was 375 mio. Euros (60 perecent less.)

would this give more expousure to ligue 1 around the world? since their is few coverage in us.

EPL makes so much money in Asia that nobody compares. Real Madrid is the only team or league in the same stratosphere.

From the Uefa board...
The French league needs a bigger tv deal than Spain or Germany because French teams have to pay high employment taxes and they have to have their finances checked and regulated by the DNCG(the government). You dont have this in England, Spain, Germany or Italy so thats why France needs such a large tv deal to help even the playing field a little. Teams like Bracelona and the Italian teams are milliions and millions in debt yet they still keep on spending for the top players. French teams cant spend money like that if they are in debt because of the DNCG. They also have to pay higher taxes for players so thats why they need so much money from tv rights to help them compete with the other leagues who dont have similar restrictions.
