what up yall im 16 and am going to be trying out for my first club team this sunday. Ive played varsity hs ball for my fresman and sophmmore years and now that i am looking at colleges and starting to contact coaches i felt it would be important to try and build a little bit of a club resume. What do yall recommend i do for this weekend. its not really a formal tryout actually im going to train with them for 2 hrs on an outdoor field. thanks for ur help

go looking for the ball, be vocal, and be confident. confidence is the most important thing. keep moving the entire time also.

Thats how I started playing Club too .. I tried out later, in the middle of the season .. anyway, I think the most important thing would be that you show chemistry with the rest of the team, and that you have a good work ethic. Win balls, and play intelligently. Make it obvious that you want to be there more then anyone else.

Yeah, both excellent replies. I also add that show you can listen and are open to learning too.

Hey!
I am 23 years old and I play for a Canadian University. This summer I want to tryout for a PDL team, but I have no idea of the level of game or how they manage players.
I have email some coaches and I have some tryouts date.
What I want to know is, what this league look in older players like me. And what do the teams provide to players that make the team (housing, car, job).
Thanks
