In the spirit of inquiry as an Aussie, I was wondering if anyone can tell me what's going on with this guy? I assume he's still knocking around the reserves, last I heard he was doing alright there, but it's difficult to get info on lower-grade matches here. Has he had any sort of proper run with the firsts in recent times? Also, can anyone shed some light on his current contractual position - I understand it was originally of a temporary nature.

He also scored a couple of weeks ago in the mini derby.

He hasn't played at all yet for the first team. He will get a chance possibly next season now. Yobo can't even get in the first team at the moment. But hopefully he will start along side Yobo soon.

I think part of Bosnar's problem is that David Moyes is very hesitant to alter a working lineup and, as Everton are still hanging around in the top three, it's hard to argue against that approach.

If injuries or cards start piling up, Eddie should start to see more time.

As far as his contract goes, it's a one-year deal that expires in June 2005. He isn't qualified for a full work permit, so he's here on a one-year Commonwealth Working Holiday Visa.

To be fair, when Moyes signed him he said he would not be a first teamer - just cover.

Touch wood, we have had no injury problems yet this season, so he hasn't got a start.

What I want to know is what about Peter Clarke - he always looked like a decent player to me - and look what Osman has done when he was given a chance in the first team. We were lucky 'cos he nearly went to Derby lastr season, but they could not afford the £400,000 odd we were asking for him.

Mate, Peter Clarke signed for Blackpool in September :) Will never make it, always looked shoddy when playing for us. Eg. Blackburn away last season.
