How do we get those great all black away kits back? The yellow kits stink.
How often do the Addicks change?
Or, I would love to see the away kit be the opposite of the home kit. White shirt with red trim. Red shorts with white trim. White socks. It's a good look. Hamburg's home kit is like this with blue socks.
Thoughts?

It's such a hideous Yellow too. But now with 3 wins from the last 4 away fixtures, I don't want to jinx anything.

Well, a team rarely changes mid-season. I was just wondering when we might be due for a change in kits. Keep the home kit as is and just change from the yellow next season.

The club changes their kit every two seasons so next year everything will again.

kev,
can you give us some history of the away kit colors?
now -- yellow
before -- black
what other colors have been used for our away kits? ever white?

Well, the black kit was the clubs third kit. The club had a white second kit two years ago. A lot of people were blaming the white kit for the clubs poor away matches so they tried to play as many matches as possible in the black.
The Premier League forced all clubs to have only two kits starting two years ago. The centenary kit was given special approval for only match and will not be allowed to use again in League or Cup play. I do believe they will use the kit again next year as part of a friendly with either Sevilla (who will also be celebrating 100 years) or Lazio.

If I remember correctly, the Yellow became popular last year during a string of good matches.
