Sam's Army in Cary (Nike Women's Cup)

Here's the information for getting tickets in the Sam's Army section for the US WNT matches in Cary on 10/2 & 10/6:

Call 1-312-528-1249 (the number is to US Soccer) and ask for the Sam's Army section. All of these tickets will be held at the Will-Call window.

We will be in section #208.

There will be a tailgate for the for the 10/6 match at $5/person and for the 10/2 match we'll have a meeting/gathering place that's gonna be BYO. All beer is BYO in any case.

Tailgate time: On Firday for the gathering the first game kicks off at 5pm and so I'll be there at 3:30. For Saturday, the first match kicks off at 11:30am and so we'll start the Tailgate at 9:30am.

I'm not sure exactly where we'll be able to set up the tailgate/gathering but I'll try for the a corner of the main, dirt lot close to the gate and ticket office.

So, did any of you actually go?! How big was the Sam's Army group at the Australia match on Wednesday?

I watched the game on TV, and I couldn't hear any sort of atmosphere being generated by the crowd. Actually thought to myself on a couple of occasions "If only Sam's Army were there..."

We were there. All three of us!!!!

Okay, so it was four for brief periods when Andy Meade came down from the press box and 2 for most of the 2nd half. But we were there and making some noise though less than what we would've liked. But, not too bad given the lack of personnel.
