Do they have practises open to the fans? where and when?

the crew have a training facility in the village of Obetz, Ohio.
I don't know how to get there, but maybe someone here can give you directions.

I'm not sure who you'd see in Obetz this time of year, considering many of the players scatter.
Look for them to re-convene in January. Usually those practices are at the Easton Sports Barn. Then it's spring training in Florida, or some other location. In the past they've gone to Mexico or Spain.
March brings the team back to Columbus. They'll practice at Easton or weather permitting, they'll practice at Obetz.

The Crew sometimes, like Krypto said, go overseas. Last year they were in Barcelona during the Madrid train bombings. They've played Barca's reserve team, and if I'm not mistaken, Sporting Lisbon in the past.
