Ok, fellas. It's time to start the rumors. We're not far from the transfer window opening. I wanna read about all the little tidbits you pick up along the way!
I'm hoping for a striker and a defender or two, since Weir and Stubbs are both finished at the end of the season. I don't know what to do about Gravs just yet. He seems anxious to leave even if his demands are met (e.g. European competition), since he won't even discuss a new contract.
I read today that Tottenham swears Defoe isn't for sale (http://www.football365.com/news/premiership_news/story_135195.shtml), which generally means no one has offered enough money yet. That would be somethin', huh? :D Of course, the £10m that Moysie should have to play with probably wouldn't cut it.
So from here forward, post rumors, dreams, silly notions, etc. It'll be interesting to see who all we're linked with.

I heard £10m. We only got half of our Judas money up front.

According to the Sun (VERY reliable source, I know), John O'Shea seems to think Man Utd will sell him in January. Let's bring him to Merseyside!

From the Sunday Mirror:
Everton want a swap deal involving John O'Shea or Kleberson if Manchester United aim to sign Thomas Gravesen

I don't want Gravesen to leave at all, we've got the money let's buy some good players outright! I think we should sign a good young defender that's what we need really.

I think we need a striker more than we need a defender. We can probably convince Stubbs and Weir to stay another year while we wait for the rest of our Judas money to show up. We need someone who can finish. We've been making the plays, especially with Gravs's fire in midfield, but we get to the goal and we're wide or over the crossbar. Maybe we just need some target practice??

I guess Davie Moyes likes Cahill so much that he's going after other Aussies?

Man u havent got any money left to buy in january so tommy wont go there.I do believe he will stay but he isnt the only one out of contract at the end of this season. We have eleven of our first team out of contract in the summer DM is making moves to tie up the players in the team first.I for one believe hes got it right to secure the players who got us here in the first place. The funds are coming from The Fortress sports group 13.5 million in January with an option to make it up to 30 million, but for this money they will get a controlling share in Everton.Whether that will be a good thing or not depends on if we continue to play in the top five,if we do more money will be put into the club.
