This group was also supposed to play in the Caymans in Sept. or Oct., I believe, but the venue was changed after a hurricane left the damaged Caymans in its wake.

What about B and C?

French Guiana and Martinique qualified from Group B a couple of weeks ago, as did St. Kitts & Nevis and St. Lucia from Group F. We had threads on those groups when the games were played. Group C went by default to Cuba, since all the other teams withdrew.

T&T clinch qualification. Suriname has 2 points, Grenada and PR 1 each. T&T vs. Suriname and Grenada vs. PR in the final round.

PR GOT A TIE!!! Of course, it would have been great to get a win, BUT IF PR BEATS GRENEADA IT CAN STILL GO THROUGH, WHICH WOULD MAKE HISTORY US. Hell, if PR ties Grenada that will make history.

If only the Boricuas could have won! But hey, I'm not complaining...

Does anyone know the scores from the Sunday matches in these groups?

Grenada:5 PR:2

I don't know the result of the Trini-Surinam game.

PR did not achieve it's goal of going through. Too bad. That would have been a great step for the program.

GOHB, by the way, thanks for posting the results of the PR-SUR tie the other day. I couldn't get that info anywhere not on PR or Trini websites, not Yahoo, not CONCACAF until you posted it. I really appreciate it. I was able to share it with soem other PR supporters.

Interesting article on the Bermuda-British Virgin Islands game from the Royal Gazette:

http://www.theroyalgazette.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20041129/SPORT/111290107

The Bermuda coach essentially charges BVI with improperly using former St. Vincent players. He's obviously unhappy at losing, so consider the source. But BVI took a big jump up in class in this tourney, and you wonder how they did it.

Another article about the Bermuda-BVI match from the VI Daily News.

Interestingly, the Daily News is based on St. Thomas, USVI, where the USVI Federation offices are and there was not one sentence about the USVI playing in the Digicel Cup.

Go Haiti!!! I don't really care who wins the Digicel Cup i just want them to qualify and i'm pretty sure the 3 teams going to the Gold Cup next year are going to be Haiti, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago.

Do you know if Damon Ming is still with Barnet in England or did he return to Bermuda?
