Dodgy appointment IMO, could work though and he'll be good as a player if nothing else. He will be a huge loss to Dunfermline.

Bad move for both clubs.

You never know, this is Brewster's first managerial job and it looks like Caley have taken their time to think about this appointment.

I think it's a bad move for Dunfermline though, Brewster is still a good player and I'm sure will get a few goals for ICT.

Exactly. He has zero experience. It is therefore a huge risk.

I wouldn't say he has "zero experience". More than half the managers in Scotland have not had a previous job, it's a risk but that doesn't mean it's a bad move.

If I had asked you to name an older SPL player who you felt would make a good manager, where would Brewster come?

Name someone you think would be better.

I doubt Caley have jumped into this decision, they'll have talked to loads of people who have worked with Brewster and the fact that he spent so much time in Greece was probably a plus point.

Do you think Paul Lambert would have been a better manager?

Probably. You often find that captains make better managers, because it is an extension of their current role and natural abilities/qualities.
