Larsson, without a doubt.

Dado Prso? Yer havin' a laugh! Nacho Novo is playing far better. So are a number of foriegn players, including Stefan Klos.

Where's Zoltan Varga, the Hungarian international who played for Aberdeen for one season before leaving to replace Johann Cryuff at Ajax? ;)

And of players I've actually seen... I'd put Hans Gillhaus up there with the list of best foreign players to have graced the league. He was only allowed to leave PSV Eindhoven for the Dons because they signed Romario :)

You need to define "best". Livi had Guillermo Amor.

If that's the way it works, what about George Best?

What about Ronald de Boer or Sergio Berti...

You could easily argue for Best. That's why I want the term "best" to be further defined.

Give Novo a few years before you start heaping laurels upon him. A good start does not a legend make. For example, let's see Novo and Golden Boot mentioned in the same breath. Winning would be a bit much.

How long did Best play in Scotland? Sorry for the ignorance there. If it was more than a couple of years, I'd say he should be on the list, as one of the best, most beloved players ever if not statistically perhaps.

I could say the same about Beattie and Judas (aka McGeady). The point was that Novo is playing better than Prso. That statement is correct.

I don't rate Novo that highly, I just meant he's done alot more than Prso. Best was at hibs for a year or 2 (not certain, well before my time), he was well past his err...best when he was was there. Didn't make much of an impact. Laudrup was possibly the most talented forgein player i've ever seen in Scotland. But over time I think Larsson has proved to be the best.

Brian Laudrup for me! I still wonder what could have been with Michael Mols!

Albertz was probably my favourite, but Laudrup was a footballing god.

Ok, you may think "best" as in who has had the best or most succesful footballing career that has played in the Scottish league, saying that, you could say guys like George Best, Terry Butcher, Ian Wright, Frank de Boer etc. We're talking "best" as in - Which foreigner had the most succesful time while playing in the Scottish league. Ok Rino Gatusso was a mistake in the poll forgive me
