Today is the Basque Derby, with both teams needing point to give some breathing room from relegation.

Plus, Erreala is jealous because we are the Basque flagship ;)

After Aranzubia gets sent off, Erreala score 3 to come back and win.

Unbelievable, really. Up two in Donostia and I thought Athletic were home free.

Even though playing down a man, we should have bunkered down and played all defense.

It's tough, i would have love to have seen this one as it sounds like it was a great game. Any insights on the performances by the players?

Sounded like a great game. Osasuna has 4 pts. in Basque derbies (Sociedad 3, Bilbao 1) and is highest in the table, though. :) Of course, Osasuna was at home to Bilbao and Sociedad, so they'll probably lose out on the away legs. Hope all three can stay up and Eibar and Alaves win promotion. 5 Basque sides! That would be impressive!

That first goal was pretty amazing. I think it was Ezquerra who scored it. Pretty impressive.

What a comeback by Sociedad....
The goal from Urzáiz I thought would settle the match for Athletic.
But what a second half comeback by Sociedad.

Nihat did good.
