Philip Ifil has signed his first professional contract at the club.
The young defender - he only turned 18 yesterday - signed on the dotted line after returning from England Under-19 duty this afternoon.
Phil made his Premiership breakthrough when he started the first two games of this season. He has been in and around the squad since and came on as a substitute in the recent Carling Cup win at Burnley.
Phil, who has played for England at Under-16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 levels, first played for our Academy U17 side back in the 2001-02 season.
Our picture shows Phil signing flanked by Club Secretary John Alexander and our Head Coach Martin Jol.
