"Rooney is a dangerous forward, but he does not have the consistency to be number one worldwide," Casillas told skysports.com.
"He has one excellent match, two ordinary ones and three bad ones which is not the form of a star. He's still in the adaptation phase at Manchester United.
"I am not worried about Rooney.
Iker, there's a call for you, it's Rustu on line 1.

I don't know what your problem is but he's spot on.

Yeah Iker is the one who should be talking with him and Spain being such unbeatable champions and all. Ups...I forget, they were tossed out of the Euro's pretty early.

I don't know what your problem is but he's spot on.I don't know what my problem is either. I don't seem to be able to gleam any from my initial post.... other than a reference to the last time a "World Class" keeper called out Rooney....

That's funny considering Iker ins't a world class 'keeper.

The papers got it wrong. IC said :
"Raul is a dangerous forward, but he does not have the consistency to be number one worldwide," Casillas told skysports.com.
"He has one excellent match, two ordinary ones and three bad ones which is not the form of a star. He's still in the adaptation phase at Real Madrid."
"I am not worried about Raul."

 Casillas is an excellent keeper. Considering the defense he plays behind, that Real haven't allowed more goals is remarkable. His wingbacks are Salgado and Roberto Carlos for Chrissakes!

Yes, because clearly Rooney is not a threat 6 goals in 9 games is not threatening in the least. I would put money on Rooney scoring at least one and creating one as well.

Not sure on this one - I agree with a lot of what IC said regarding the consistency etc. It seems he's inferring that when he's good, he's very, very good but when he's bad....
I do think he'll be made to eat those words about "not being worried about Rooney" though - as Rustu learnt.

Good point.
Carlos does seem to be staying "at home" more. And hasn't Helguera [sic] filled in on the right lately?

How in the world does that help though?
And hasn't Helguera [sic] filled in on the right lately?
Not that I've seen, but I could be wrong. We'll find out this weekened how solid Real's defense is!

Haha... comedy from the match tracker during the England game had a good laugh...
"Rooney finally gets the ball, but is surrounded by three Spanish defenders and loses it to Marchena. I'm not entirely sure what Rooney is trying to do with his hair - he looks like a particularly proud badger."

Maybe this is why Rooney tried to launch Casillas into the stands tonight

Rooney already has the talent - he has another 12-15 years to develop the consistency :)

That Rooney needs to be more disciplined shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Wenger to Reyes to Casillas to Rooney = front row seat for Casillas.
Thank you mr.Wenger.
This maniac licks ears and spews his venom. Muppets like Reyes catch the spit and pass it on. Its poison. Its Arsenal. Its sour grapes.
If Casillas can stand up after pouring gallons brandy into his cafe con leche at the back of the Train Station and weave his way to his frontRow seat he will grow old watching Wayne Rooney jam consistency down his pieHole.
"Quiche Senor Wenger?"
